Q: Are these small bulbs like 3. 75 inches long and bulb width across only like 2.5 inches if there big they don't fit in my ceiling

These are 3.75 inches in diameter at the "light end" and about 5.25 inches from the tip of the screw in base to the front of the "light end". They are about 4.25 inches from the top of the socket to the light end. Hope that helps. Any light can they go in would have to be over 3.75 inches inside diameter to screw the bulb in.
