COLOR WOW Raise the Root Thicken + Lift Spray - All-Day Volume for Fine, Flat Hair without dulling color

I love WOW. I have thin hair, and a light misting of WOW before I blow dry makes my hair look much fuller. The hold is very nice, too. I've used this spray for a few weeks now, and my hair has not suffered in any way. Oh, btw, the spray comes out evenly and does not drown your hair. After spraying it on, I tousle my hair a bit to rub it into the area where I use it.The ONLY bad part is that the bottle will stick to the shelf where you set it, so I use a little jelly jar lid under it. The bottle will be stuck to it.

This product is top quality. I’ve tried so many to make my hair look fuller. This is a very small bottle for the price but a few sprays is all you need. I use it at the crown and back to pull up a small cowlick. My hair is fairly short and straight and at 64 has become thinner and no volume. This is what I’ve been looking for. Hold lasts all day and isn’t stiff or crunchy. Washes out easily.

It makes my hair look fuller and healthier. I Love it!

I was very skeptical about purchasing this product but I am so happy that I did! This is by far the best hair lift i have ever bought! I hair is very flat and this gives my hair the much needed volume. I even get compliments from everyone saying my hair looks great, and at 66 that is pretty special. I will never buy any other product!

I wanted to try this one since I have mouse , I wanted to try the sprayIt works okay,I would say this spray doesn’t make your hair hard texture as the mouse does, but that makes the hair keep in shape. So the mouse worked better ( the same WOW brand)considering the price I paid for this size, I’m not sure if I wanna get it again.It might work well if your hair is more like dry side,If your hair gets oily or humid weather condition, and want your roots up, this isn’t strong enough in my personal humble opinion.I would go for mouseBut you can always try mini size it is smaller than my hand size but it’s nice that they offer , cus paying full price and finding out it’s not for you.If you like it, get the full size and keep this bottle for the trip on the future

After only a few hours, the product becomes very gritty feeling, and your hair will feel dry and porous to the touch. If you read the ingredients, the first one is denatured alcohol. The rest are other chemicals like polymers.The next morning after using it, my hair felt gummy at the roots where the product had been applied, and it looked dry and dull. My scalp also felt itchy. I didn’t want to risk any further damage or breakage, so I immediately tried to shampoo it out.When I got my hair wet in the shower, it felt weird to the touch, like it had something bonded to it. The first shampoo didn’t remove the buildup or icky coated feeling. I shampooed a second time, something I never do, and it started to feel slightly better, but I could still feel something wasn’t right with my hair. Usually after shampooing, it feels clean and smooth. I didn’t want to do a third shampoo, so I used my regular conditioner and hoped for the best .After blowdrying my hair, it still looked dull and had none of its regular shine or softness which is not at all how my hair usually looks and feels after washing it. The gritty, gummy, feeling at the roots was gone and so was the itching, but my hair still doesn’t feel like it did before I used this product.It definitely damaged my hair. I wish I had checked out the ingredients more thoroughly before buying it.I noted that most of the reviewers who posted a photo or video did so immediately after styling, following their first use of the product, which is when it looks and feels its best. After only a few hours of being in your hair, that’s when the damaging effects will start to appear.This product is getting super over-hyped on social media by influencers. please don’t make the same mistake I did and fall for it .If you need lift at the roots, just use a good quality hairspray and styling products. I reached out to ColorWow with my concerns, and they offered to exchange this product for a different one if I return it. However, after reviewing the list of similar sounding ingredients in their other formulations, I’m going to take the financial hit and the lesson to be more careful in the future. I spent $25 on some thing that is genuinely terrible and should be pulled from the market.

This product is great! Use on damp hair spray lightly at the roots then blow dry or use lightly on dry hair and style. It gives great lift and body without the stiffness or weight. It holds well usually all day.

If I could give this product 10 stars I would! I have the worse cowlick at the crown of my head I struggle with daily. Saw this product and bought the smallOne to give it a try. Oh my gosh it works!!!’ Even the next morning ( which after sleeping it’s at its worse) and it was still covered I was shocked. Now I wished I bought the bigger bottle. Truly the best product for this reason I’ve ever used and I’m a hairdresser and I’ve tried many many products. Highly recommend.
