Great small bass speaker cab, especially for home use and practicing
Good sounding 10" lightweight bass cab... I use it with the TC Electronics Bam200 Micro amp and this setup takes up hardly any space in my smaller living room/office. The amp sits on top of a corner of my desk, and this bass cab slides easily beneath it to disappear when not in use. But IMO the real neat thing about this cab is if you use it with a good amp it will give you a nice clear O/P representation of your bass; there appears to be very little (if any?) unwanted coloration of my Ibanez Mikro bass or my rubber stringed U-bass sound at all! -IMO probably one of the better 10" bass speaker cabs around, and not priced so as to break the bank either....

Big bada boom in a little box
This is a lot of boom in a small package. All their lives, bassists are led to believe that when it comes to amplification, bigger is better. This speaker, coupled with the Elf head, blows that myth out of the water. Lightweight and easy to transport, this is the perfect system for small gigs. Couple it with a matching 10" cab for the full 4 ohm 200 watt system. Well worth the money.

Considering it's size, if almost works with a Octavizer.
Sounds good enough. I played my bass in stereo with the bass into the 10" Eminence speaker and the bridge side pickup into a Trace Elliot AH600SMX with 4-10" and 1-15". Sounds amazing..switch sides though and you know it's only a single 10" not 4-10" & 1-15". No octavizer can compare to a full stack. That's not why I bought it. I bought it for a practice amp..Right now it's a 125w with a 10" ELF with an Eminence speaker. I plan to add a second 10".ELF for a full 200w practice amp or a baby road amp that I can use through a DI. With two ELF 1-10".cabs near a wall and floor or chair and wall, I can hear what I'm playing while the audience can hear front of the house speakers that I cannot. Just for jamming. Otherwise the stacks come out! I believe the 8" are better speakers but I don't like what an 8" can push for air.

Incredibly light and compact.
The first impression is how light it is. Even for its small size it is very light. I would compare it to a jug of milk, maybe lighter. The sound is incredibly tight and sharp. The high end notes are perfectly reproduced. I don't know why anyone would want the 5" if they have this. No need. The low end is very full without being boomy. I wouldn't put this speaker next to a loud drum set, but short of that, it will give enough bass to fill any need I ever have for a bass amp. I do think it comes up short compared to a 15". Just not as much low end oomph. In fact, I'll be this speaker paired with a 15" would be incredible. I wonder if the ELF could handle that? In the end, it is Trace Elliott, so we can expect a great great speaker, and that's what this is. A little lighter than a full half stack amp, but much more versatile and full of a sound than any 10" speaker I've ever heard.

Great Cab!
Light weight and a ton of sound. Paired with the Elf and loud enough for small gigs.

Love Trace but....
Product came damaged from factory, not from packaging or shipment. Could not return due to need for a gig.
