Missing caps?
I have bought 5 for friends. They seem to work but as you see in the picture the plunger part dud not have the black cap and we are older and find it hard to push. Wondering if they were missing a part?

I feel the spark!
Ok, I am using this on my dog's spine because he has the canine equivalent of ALS/Lou Gehrig's Disease, and his paralysis is progressing every day. My hope is that this little device will "re-start" my dog's neurons in his spine. when I place the end of the device on one side of his spine and my other hand on the opposite side and then press the trigger, I feel a small zap in my opposite finger. Hopefully, this means that the zap is creating more communication in his spine. My 4-star rating is largely based on hope, but I have a LOT of hope that this will work. The device arrived quickly, and I have had no problems with it sending a "zap" through my dog's spine.

Generates a spark, but doesn’t direct it anywhere useful
When I first tried to push the plunger on this, I felt a shock, but it was on my the fingers holding on to the “T” handle, not where the point of the device was pressed. Same thing happened repeatedly; the shock was never coming from the metal tip. When I took the device apart, I saw it was basically a gas grill lighter (the part generating the spark when the trigger was pressed) with a plastic cap containing the metallic tip, which seemed to be intended to direct the spark to the desired area. The rest of the body was plastic, but the handle was METAL, which is probably why the spark was getting channeled through that instead of the tip.Perhaps my unit is defective, but it certainly isn’t doing anything like was it’s descibed to do or what other reviewers have talked about. My wife has issues with chronic neck pain, so I was hopeful this might give some relief. But so far I can’t do anything with it except make my fingers tingle. Useless.
