I love this album by Bon Jovi. I didn't think I would like an album by Bon Jovi that came after New Jersey, but this is great. My Life is such a good song and Thank You For Loving Me is so sweet!

Item not as described. Wasn't brand new. Casing was broke and massively scratched This wasn't damage from being delivered this was damaged then purposely rewrapped. Not brand new. Dust and light surface scratches on disc.

"It's my life" is great, but all the other songs are brillant (of course you have to like bon jovi). Very different from their 80s career, but really complementary. They're just getting older!

Neben dem Song "It's my life" ist auf dem 2000 erschienen Album nichts wirklich bahnbrechendes zu hören. Das ist jedoch Geschmackssache.Wer sich mit "Bon Jovi" musikalisch mal beschäftigen möchte, sollte sich lieber die alten Alben wie "New Jersey" oder "Slippery when wet" oder die Best of "Crossroads..." anhören. Meiner Meinung durchschnittlich, nicht nur weil es sich um hier um ein absolutes "Mainstream" Werk handelt...

Besser als sein Ruf
Ich hatte ja Angst vor dem Album. ich hatte mir die Bon Jovi Alben der chronologischen Reihenfolge nachgekauft, nachdem ich durch das Greatest Hits Album 2010 (als Geburtstagsgeschenk) angefixt wurde. Ich hatte oft gehört, dass dieses Album schlecht wäre, zu seicht und eigentlich peinlich. Nun ja, was soll ich sagen? So schlecht fand ich es nicht. Klar, es kann nicht mit den vier Vorgänger-Alben mithalten, dafür sind die einfach zu gut, aber es übertrifft auf jeden Fall locker "7800° Fahrenheit" und vielleicht sogar "Bon Jovi", wobei beide irgendwo für mich auf einer Stufe stehen."It's My Life" ist ein super Song und gehört zu den absoluten Bon Jovi Übersongs. Ansonsten ist das Album natürlich mit Balladen angereichert und bereits "Say It Isn't So" ist mehr oder weniger eine Ballade. Bis auf "Save the World" und "Next 100 Years" sind alle kein weiter Wurf. "Next 100 Years" hat ein geniales Gitarren-Solo und "Save the World" hat einen schönen, intensiven Gesamteindruck. "Thank You for Lovin' Me" toppt in Sachen Schmalz sogar "Bed of Roses" und "Always" und wandelt gerade noch so auf der Grenze des noch ertragbaren. Ganz anders "Mystery Train" und "She's a Mystery", beide sind nicht schlecht, aber nicht so ganz mein Geschmack. Dagegen stehen dann "Two Story Town" und "I Got the Girl", die beiden eher langweilig daher kommen. "One Wild Night" schließt das Album genial ab und hat eine Refrain zum mitsingen. Die Geheimtipps sind allerdings die Songs "Just Older" und "Captain Crash & The Beauty Queen From Mars", welches eine Homage an David Bowies "Ziggy Stardust" darstellt. Beides sind wirklich gute Rocksongs. Leider spielen vier der zwölf Songs im Mittelmaß und zwei liegen leicht darunter, damit ist die Hälfte nicht so gut, wie sie sein könnte, der Rest ist aber wirklich gut.Der größte Kritikpunkt liegt aber bei der Verpackung: Die Live-Versionen sind gut gelungen, gerade "Just Older" ist wesentlich besser in der Live-Version als in der Studio-Version, aber die Verpackung sorgt dafür, dass man am äußeren Rand gerne mal seine Fingerabdrücke hinterlässt und dann das Abspielen erschwärt, bei mir scheint an der Stelle genau "Captain Crash & The Beauty Queen From Mars" in Live zu liegen, manchmal erwischt es auch die Live-Version von "Just Older". Trotzdem sollte man sich das Album kaufen, da es sich um wirklich schöne Rockmusik handelt.

Buen disco de Bon jovi, que aun conservaba su formación original y eso se nota en el disco, este cd viene con cuatro canciones mas en directo que son una gozada.Imprescindible para cualquier fan.

Su último gran disco
Bon jovi en esta reedición del Crush, ha hecho una edición cuidada y de calidad.Para mi es un disco roquero, y con poco hard rock. Su último gran disco desde el Keep the Faith.

Durchschnitt
Als ich "It's my life" hörte, war ich als alter Bon Jovi- Fan total begeistert. Endlich wieder ein Song, der an die alten, rockigen Zeiten anknüpft. Die darauf folgenden Songs auf der CD waren eher frustrierend. Viel zu viel Balladen und Main-Stream-Rock. Schade. Sicherlich werden mir eingefleischte Bon Jovi-Fans zustimmen, dass diese CD an "7800°Fahrenheit","Bon Jovi" usw. nicht heranreicht. Klar muß man sich weiterentwickeln, aber nicht als alte Rockband in die Poprichtung!!!(siehe Crossroads :-((((( ) Zum Konzert geh ich natürlich trotzdem, logisch, in der Hoffnung auf ein paar alte Songs. We keep the faith!

glad I purchased this cd... lots of wonderful songs ..I do not think there is one cd from Jon Bon Jovi you do not like... nice addition to addition..... Uno de los ultimos grandes discos de Bon Jovi de momento
La verdad es que si. Es uno de los pocos últimos discos de Bon Jovi que me gustan. Luego han vuelto a sacar algún otro disco bueno como el "Have a nice day", pero la mayoría han estado muy por debajo del nivel de esta gran banda. Este no, desde luego. Comercial y alegre, pero con grandes temas y grandes baladas.
