Easy to work with and beautiful material!

This is WONDERFUL to am knit with!! It comes compressed in a vacuum sealed bag, so no need to worry about trying to find a place to store massive rolls of it until you're ready to use it. But I couldn't wait long enough to store it, I had to try it right away! Lol! Once I opened it and gave it a little while to "re-fluff", it puffed out nicely. It's a very soft material tube full of stuffing, so absolutely no snagging or splitting like with regular yarn or - especially - with roving. I got 4 bundles total, and when I got to the end of one I tucked one end inside the beginning of the next and stitched them together with a couple small, unnoticeable stitches using a needle and thread. I haven't finished this throw yet, but it shouldn't take me more than an hour to do so. And for fellow knitters - when is the last time you finished an approx. 50" X 60" throw in 2-3 hours from cast on to bind off? Talk about instant gratification! LOL! It's really easy to work with, and this throw is definitely going to be a great focal piece that's both beautiful AND functional.

.... but it kind of feels like it's not stuffed as full as most tubular yarn I've purchased. That being said, it actually makes it easier to work with. So I don't know if that's a pro or a con.

I used this to arm-crochet a bed for my son's cats. It came out nicely and they like it. Easy to work with.

Great yarn for knitting and good price

Soft and squishy! Probably the most notable thing about this is how much you get for such a little price! Wow! Can’t believe it! The skeins are heavy and thick, this is NOT cheaply made or low quality. Works up super quick. Perfect for beginners or experienced knitters/crocheters. I’ve played around with it a lot, making stuff then pulling it apart and making something else, but I like the way a basket looks, a cushion, a rug..you can honestly do so much with it!

This yarn is so fluffy and soft (in a smooth/silky way, not in a fuzzy/furry way--it's basically a tube of soft t-shirt material stuffed with polyfil fluff, not like the fuzzy chenille-type jumbo arm-knitting yarns), I thought it was going to be very light and airy. But it's surprisingly heavy for the size. I mean, I knew I had ordered the 4.4 lbs size package, but I really have no concrete concept of how heavy that is when condensed into a tube of yarn. While arm knitting this (first time doing arm knitting), it got so heavy hanging from my arms that I had to keep putting them down to rest my arm muscles... and then when I picked up the knitting again I must've wrapped stitches a different direction, because multiple times I ended up switching from knit to purl and back again in the middle of a row. Oops! I'll probably unravel the whole thing and start over again, now that I know roughly how big of a blanket I can make with the yarn I have on hand. And maybe I'll make my loops a bit smaller the next time around, because this is a little too loose for me. But it was fun, and definitely worth trying again. This yarn is about the same price (maybe a little less expensive?) than other arm-knitting yarns I've seen, so it's relatively a good deal, I think, even though it's still a bit pricier than I usually do for my yarn projects. Then again, I'm a cheapskate knitter, so you might not think it's expensive at all!
