Fixman 684180 Self-Wrap Hook and Loop Tape Black 25 mm x 5m

I was considering buying webbing and sewing hook and loop sections to it, but this fully-covered tape is more versatiile and cheaper anyway! 4/5 for adhesion as the hooks are tiny and don't bury themselves in the fluffy bit as well as traditional Velcro does, but to compensate for that you just need to have a bit more wrap to increase the contact area and it'll be fine. Much stronger than I was expecting from the reviews, I can't stretch or damage the tape at all with my bare hands, it's very tough stuff despite being quite thin - actually I think the thinness is a bonus because it doesn't curl up or behave awkwardly when you're trying to secure it, it goes where you want it to. Bought to make a custom carrying handle for yoga mat, it's way beyond strong enough for wrapping and carrying that and it's a thick yoga mat! Would also be perfect for wrapping bamboo cane bundles to keep them neat, or wrapping round a folded parasol etc, endless uses.

Specifically wanted this to wrap round our parasol when it was folded down. Just the job. Will be useful for any job that needs a wrap around tie (cables etc). So easy just to cut the required length and if necessary cut long enough to get good overlap for a secure closure. Useable indoors or out.

This is ok, in fact there’s nothing wrong with it. I bought this as I’d previously bought a similar product in B&Q several years ago which has now run out. That one was genuine Velcro whereas this is not. The Velcro was much thicker and had stronger holding strength than this one but this one is perfectly satisfactory. After all not really much you can review about a roll of hook & loop tape....

cut to length & attach, easy as that. no glue or sticky substance to mess with. will hold anything anywhere.

I purchased this to strap up my clothing for storage in my panniers on a long distance bike trek. I also used it for tidying up the electrical leads on my laptop when being transported. Easy to just cut to the length you need and can be used over and over again.

Exactly as described. Perfect self wrap.

Works perfectly as you would expect, thinner and more flexible than velcro and some of the other copycat brands, which makes it easier to wrap tight corners, eg.. small parts containers etc, that you do not want 5000 little beads or such things spilling out, due to a mishap. And can also use a little less when wrapping cables etc.Have knocked a couple of stars off, as i only actually received 24.5 meters. It was not one continuous length either, and was actually 3 pieces of varying lengths. But enough for my current needs.

La he comprado para un baúl que tengo en el balcón. Está en una zona donde sopla el aire fuerte. Desde que la tengo ya no se me ha levantado la tapa. Ha aguantado al temporal Gloria sin levantarse. De momento aguanta y conserva la adhesión.

Eigentlich wollte ich ein selbstklebendes Klettband und bin bei diesem hier gelandet. Es hat kein Klebeband, sondern haftet an sich selbst. Und das nicht schlecht. Alles in allem ist es ein sehr gutes Klettband mit guten Hafteigenschaften. Sie restliche Beschreibung stimmte und ich bin vollstens zufrieden mit dem Klettband.
