This is my first retractable leash so I cannot compare to others. But, I was able to get used to it pretty quickly. The slide lock can take a little to get used to, but our puppy (9 lbs terrier/chihuahua ) has gotten used to the subtle pull of the springed leash on her harness and really seems to like it.The leash itself is really nice and reflective. I have really noticed it when walking at night with a head lamp. It reflects and glows quite well.** One Warning** The leash is thin and light which is great for normal situations. But be very careful trying to grab the leash yourself as it will burn if it pulls along your hand (all nylon does) and can cut if you try to grab it instead of using the lock because the thinness can turn it into a razor when taught.

Love, love, love. After trying several, I'm so happy with this well made leash. Pretty pop of color, and you can tell just my holding it how well it'll hold up. It's a little bigger than I was expecting for my little chihuahua, but it's not too big. Fits well in your hand.

We have used the retractable lease for around 2-3 months now on a daily basis. I was a little hesitant to purchase the product given the cheaper price and given the fact that many similar products seem to break very easily. So far we have had no mechanical problems with the lease. Our dog is a small to medium size dog around 30 pounds. I probably would not recommend the product if you have a much larger dog. The lease itself is not very thick. I think this retractable lease may not be able to withstand pulling from larger dog. The lease is very light and is very easy to hold over long walks.

3 Star review is because my dog only weighs 5 pounds and the pullback tension of this leash is too much for him. It’s almost like it’s holding him back from being able to run freely. Besides this, it’s good. Best for a medium or large dog not a Chihuahua.

Great product this leash. Easy to use and fits my hand great. I bought it because i needed another dog waste bag holder and had plenty of bags. For the life of me I can not get this thing open. Finally got it open and took me 10 minutes and a screw driver to get it on the retractable leash. My suggestion buy the retractable leash and forget about the bag holder.

Loved this leash! It is comfortable to carry and long enough for my dog to go as far as he wants without going too far. Usually these types of leashes are not comfortable for me but I love this one!

Purchase this leash for my 9 week old Corgi puppy. So far I am very happy with it. He is so small that sometimes he seems to not realize he can move with the resistance of the leash, but once he finds something he's interested in, and heads towards it, the leash retracts easily. I also like the bone bag carrier that easily attaches to the handle of the leash to make caring doggie bags more convenient.

Very upset. I used it for 5min. before it broke. When I went to walk outside with my dog it tangled around his leg...so as I walk over to untangle, he bites it ONCE and it snaps. Seriously. 5 mins...he wasnt even nawing on it...grrrr. Very disappointed.
