KJV Study Bible, Saddle Brown LeatherTouch Indexed

This is an awesome Bible. I bought it for my husband because his was starting to fall apart. The references and commentary is excellent and extensive. I considered getting one for myself, because my current Bible is 15 years old and definitely showing its age. The only reason I didn’t is because I don’t want to lose or have to copy all of my notes. It’s bigger than most Bibles and I don’t know if they make covers that would fit. When it arrived, I was worried he would think it was too big, but he said it’s perfect. It throws me for a loop every time I look through it because of all the colors throughout. Neither of us had ever seen a Bible like this, but we love it. He’s been reading it much more frequently as well, which is awesome! It’s a great Bible, and I would recommend it to everyone. If you have to have a cover for your Bible, definitely check the dimensions of everything before purchasing. That’s the only downside.

Be careful! Remember that the notes in this study bible come from more than just one type of christian theology. I do not treat the commentary like gospel. I do love the look, feel and everything about this book. The pictures really show how amazing it was to live then. It also brings the history of the bible alive. I would recommend this study bible over any other since before purchasing it I watched tons of commentary on it and the theology of the commentators. Despite the warning I still think this study bible has a great deal of non biased writers with sound Biblical theology. Now its still colored by the false belief of spinning ball space cosmology but major publishers would likely not want to be mixed in with flat earthers. Also the leather touch cover is beautiful.

I have been on the market for a new Bible for quite a while, with no luck. I was wanting a KJV study Bible. I noticed two ladies at my church had Bibles like this, so I ordered one to try. I really do like it. The commentary has been informative but not overly intrusive, in my opinion. The photos and maps within the text is also very handy. Overall, this Bible had my top must haves: KJV, thumb index, study commentary AND center column references/within-text references. It is difficult finding this combination! That being said, the price was cheaper than I expected. I have since purchased one as a gift and the recipient seems to enjoy it as much as I have.

This Holman KJV study Bible is packed with information to help with in depth study (mostly at home). It is large, and heavy, and the print is smaller than ideal for me. However, with a bright light, it is most useful!!!

A excellent study Bible with tons of supporting information, such as timelines, topical photos, and maps. The font is clear, colorful and easy on the eyes. I have no opinion of the commentary because I don't read that portion. In hindsight, I would have bought the non-indexed version. Since there is a plethora of information in this Bible, you are flipping through more pages to go from book to book, the indexing kind of hinders smooth thumbing.

I really love this study bible with the commentary, pictures and maps, I have to ask why did the price I paid ($75.52 ) go UP to $145.95, what's with that? Maybe like a child, when someone sees interest in there toys they want more, since when are Christians greedy and DOUBLING the price, that's right DOUBLING the price! Thank God I'll never need another bible again, being in the sunset years of my life

This is the second Bible I have purchased just like this. The quality of the cover is great, but the inside is what counts. Along with the holy WORD OF GOD is a great commentary and beautiful color pictures along with many other features. If you are shopping for a good study Bible, please be sure read all the comments about this one before you chose. (John 1:1)
