I just tried it right of the box and will update my review if my impressions change, but here are my initial (exceptionally positive) thoughts.Value: not just “good for the money,” but far better than others regardless of price - the great reviews are real - and the refill blades are an incredible value compared with others (I cancelled my Groomie subscription after trying it)Performance: shaved my head exceptionally well right out of the box even though it’s been five days since my last razor shave - slightly not quite as close as a razor shave but as good as anything other than that - and I don’t think a razor shave would have been closer without rinsing it excessivelyQuality: solid device - plastic but well-designed - and metal where the parts should be metalEase: extremely easy to hold and doesn’t put too much pressure on any of the blades like some others that makes them hard to handle or fall out of the shaver when using themCleaning: the one piece head is easy to remove and clean unlike others that require you to open and clean each blade set individuallyBattery: full-shave of my head after five-day growth took only 7% battery powerUPDATE: Still awesome. Cuts really close, nearly BBS - even better with Williams Lectric Shave. Easier to clean than I’d thought: underneath the blade layer, the hairs are mostly together and very easy to dump out. Battery still strong at 70% after multiple shaves.Just ordered an extra one and a case to keep one charged in my travel kit - and an extra blade set just because.ANOTHER UPDATE: do you happen to remember the old Remington shaver ads where the guy said, “I liked it so much I bought the company.” I get it, and if I could, I might buy this company. Since my last review I broke the replacement head by cleaning it too hard, but that was on me.But… I got a professional straight blade head shave two days ago and just now slowly shaved my head again with this shaver: surprisingly it’s just as BBS as was the straight shave! I love this thing, but that’s probably abundantly clear by now.

Its a rare product these days sold at a fair price, yet delivers a very powerful punch.This little guy performs like a much bigger guy.Its easy to hold, and performs well.I liked my first one so much, I bought a second one three days later.I'll use one at home, the other when I travel.Both devices arrived in perfect condition, and fully charged.Both, after use, recharged very rapidly.However, I'm waiting to see how well the battery holds up to daily usage.Other than that, if the battery performs well, this is the perfect electric razor.By the way, the item cleans easily after each use.The magnetic attaching system, along with the easy removability factor, earns this sweet, little baby my hearty; 1,000% endorsement.The little electric shaver that can and does.The little shaver still performing well two weeks into it's early life.

I have bought this for my husband almost a year ago and we have about two replacement heads since then. The shaver worked really great but now when he uses it it starts to rip his skin on his neck but it works okay on his head. I don't know if this means it's getting dull or if it's not a good replacement head.

I started shaving my head a few years back for work (property maintenance: got annoying getting paint and whatnot out of my hair and i save a TON on shampoo!) and my body decided to catch up with my decision.I had razored it several times but it took too long to do it often enough so I'd usually use hair trimmers to take it down as close as I could every couple weeks.Not anymore! It takes me all of 45 seconds to get a good super close trim every 3 days. It's not as close as razoring but pretty damn close. (Someone mentioned it's comes out like 320 grit sand paper, which is accurate). No more horse shoe for me!I also tried it on the rest of my body, since I swim a lot and apparently there's some sasquatch in my lineage somewhere. Doesn't get 100% of everything but still WAY more convenient than anything else I've tried. (Never get Nair on your nips: hurts like the devil for like 3 days)I'd recommend this to anyone. Fast, efficient, easy to clean. In fact, my twin brother doesn't know he's getting one for christmas!

Considering the price point on this item compared to other shavers like it, this little shaver gets a lot of bang for the buck. Hubby is easily able to keep up with shaving his head. It does a nice job and it's very fast. He uses it every 2-3 days and only now, after a month and a half of use, has he had to recharge the battery. A happy purchase.UPDATE AFTER 9 MOS : This little powerhouse is still working great. Hubby's head shaving is so easy to keep up with now, not the chore it used to be. I bought a replacement head but he hasn't had to use it yet. Battery life has not deteriorated at all, he still gets several months per charge. Great little shaver!

It gives a great shave and is easy to clean.

When I first got the shaver, I was very pleased. It shaves very well, and does not irritate my skin, which is relatively sensitive. It gets a very close shave, not as good as an actual razor, but certainly better than other shavers that I’ve used. However, after 5 1/2 months it stopped working, and I used it in the shower once every other day for shaving my head. I paid less than $30 for it, but it only lasted 5 1/2 months, so I would not recommend it. For comparison, I have a shaver that was built by another company that is a different style of shaver. It is a dual foil type and it is not waterproof, but it has lasted over two years.Anyway, after I used it the last time, the battery is dead, and says it charges, but dies instantly once removed from the charger.
