Great sound at a reasonable price, without sealing up your ears
I really like these. I have the 4.4mm balanced version which I'm using with a Shanling UP5 DAC/Bluetooth headphone amplifier. The combination sounds very good to my ear. I'm not going to try to analyze the sound because everyone is different, and EQ can make a big difference, but, with a flat EQ setting and comparing these to Airpod Pros and roughly $150 in-ear monitors, I'll say it this way: Where the Airpod Pros give me a lot of (very) slightly muddy bass plus OK but not super clear mids and highs, and the IEMs give a lot of cleaner bass, almost painfully loud mids, and very precise highs with a lot of detail, these give enough bass that you know that bass is in the mix, great mids, and highs that are arguably the most pleasing but not quite as detailed as the IEMs. Each sounds really good in its way, and if I wasn't swapping between them I'd think they were all really good, but these cost $35.And these have something else to recommend them. The Airpod Pros and IEMs sound good when properly fitted If they aren't sealed they sound bad. but these don't seal. And that's a huge plus. Sealing up my ears leads to itching, and I don't always want to be that isolated.I find these really comfortable. I didn't put any of the foam pads on, but just the bare ear buds slot into my ears perfectly, stay there comfortably, and don't fall out during normal activities. As far as durability I think we have a hit and a miss here. The earbuds themselves are made of metal and seem like they will be very durable. The cords are standard headphone cords and not detachable so they will end up failing as all headphone cords eventually do. With IEMs or the like you would just replace the cords and go on, but that isn't an option here so you'll be throwing them out and buying replacements, which is a bummer.Overall, really good especially for the price. I would pay an extra $10 for detachable cords using standard connectors like IEMs use though.

These have become my favorite pair
They sound amazing, took some getting used to, but now they are very enjoyable to listen with. The fit is good, but I'm not sure how compatible they are to sleep with do to their metallic shell. The build quality looks and feels really good. The aluminum shell is very well made. One potential issue: because the shell is metallic it could get really cold in winters, and it gets warm easily from your body heat. This might take some getting used to compared to plastic shells, and on really cold days you might want to warm it with your hands before putting it on your ears.TIPS:(I'm not an expert so take these with a grain of salt)1) You might need to fiddle with you system's audio settings such as Hz Frequency2) These headphones make it easier to hear imperfections from the audio itself. If something doesn't sound right try to listen again using other headphones/speakers, you might find out that the song itself has imperfections (or sometimes effects that are purposely meant to sound like imperfections)3) Finally, while I don't think you need a high quality DAC and/or AMP for these, investing in a good enough 3.5mm to USB adapter with built-in DAC might help.

Good purchase
These have held up well for my son. He can be hard on things like this. He likes the way they sit in his ear.

excellent balanced sound 4.4mm
Incredible sound for these earphones. I have Hyby 4 DAP and using 4.4mm balanced and makes a big difference in sound. Bass, high, mid range excellent.

Not the MX365 replacement I was hoping for.
Background: my go-to headphone of this type was the Sennheiser MX365, which was discontinued a few years ago. This pair cost slightly more than the MX365 used to, and doesn't sound nearly as good. How headphones sound is, of course, hugely subjective, but I'd call these "worse than standard-issue Apple earbuds".The build material seems good at first, but it's slightly heavier than it needs to be, and as such, feels like it's falling out of my ears. Likewise, the cord seemed premium at first, but turned out to be weirdly stiff, such that tugs and jostles further down the cord can displace the buds themselves.

These sound surprisingly great! I have these and their YDKs, and they are the best sounding earbuds I've ever had. And for a great price.

Just get them
Best flathead I have ever tried, honestly just great IEM in this price range. Metal housing gives confidence as well.
