I bought a refurbished computer from E-Bay a few years back. It was a good deal because it came with keyboard, monitor, mouse AND internet stick. Since basically the first day I owned this computer, I've had terrible internet. I've had to pull out and reinsert the internet stick countless times after it slowed and stopped working. Online conference calls were a nightmare. Before I resorted to replacing the entire computer, I thought this was a good place to start.In short: it fixed everything. The internet sped up several times over. Videos pausing and glitching was a thing of the past. Now I know the that came with the computer created a bottleneck.If you need a wifi stick, I recommend this one. It is non-obtrusive and does what it advertises.

Quick, functional and simple to use.I bought this to be used on a desktop computer that was too far from the router for a cable run.Plugged it in and 2 minutes later the computer was on the Wifi.

My network is running a lot faster now! I had trouble getting it all installed properly, and contacted them thru the chat feature on the website. As promised, I was contacted shortly after by SANA. What a wonderful customer service agent! We communicated thru text and were able to share photos of what we were working on. Sana is so patient and courteous, walking me thru step by step! It works well

This was a great purchase. The Wifi card in my laptop went and this was a quick fix. I did have some issues with the driver the other day but I got on chat and they quickly fixed everything without me having to do a thing.

Revised: Do not buy. Initially, it was a PIA to install, but seemed to work OK. After a couple of weeks it started to fail. (There were reviews like this but I took the bulk over them). By the time I fully diagnosed it and replaced it - too late to get a refund.-------It's not a beginner install although it has big picture instructions. Basically you plug it into a USB (blue not white - white will be too slow I think to be optimal, blue is uSB 3.x). The instructions had a left or right decision tree. The 'run setup manually' didn't work. So, I backed up and punted. Not long and it was running - but not well. I needed to open it up and set the preference/preferred frequency. Works pretty well for the first three hours post install.I can't say whether WiFi 6 works or not. The computer thinks this gadget has it but either it doesn't - or - I don't have it on the new (yesterday) fibre-optic internet. The fibre installer (subcontractor) said it did. Which, if it does - I have not gotten it to link in WiFi 6.What got me into this impulse purchase is pretty simple really, we've been waiting for several years for the infrastructure to make its way out here on the "coming soon" promise. Yesterday's install broke the link between "the system" and the desktop I use to post weekly blogs on my industry. The phone company didn't have a so this was a fingers crossed buy.IF YOU have, like I did, a computer without a WiFi card and no room internal to place a card, this might be worth a try. As far as signal strength, the 5gig band (current connection) is running through 2 interior walls and a floor-ceiling assembly with 1 (WiFi) bar lost - not 100%.We'll see... If it burns up, etc. I'll revise the review.Edit -------------------Well, that didn't last long (less than a month (+/-)) and now intermittent. ISP came out and swapped lasers in the router, not the internet. Windows all gone through and updated, not the computer.

I would like to preface this with the fact that I've only had this a few days, but in those few days it has been amazing. I have an older computer that doesn't work with 5G. I was forced to change my modem to a 5G modem by Xfinity. They divided it up into 5G and 2.4. This computer (which I love) had to use 2.4 and it was worse than when I had dial-up. (Yes, I'm that old.) Anyway, for me it was not plug and play. I did have to go to the website and download the driver. But their instructions are so detailed and so good. I mean they really go into every circumstance that could happen and tell you how to deal with it. Before, I was lucky to get 35 MBps. Now, look at the speed test results I get. Over 200 MBps. So far I am thrilled with this!It is now June 21, 2024 and I am sad to report that this gadget no longer works. I turned on my computer today and it was no longer working. I was so happy how well this worked, but if it only works for a couple of months it is not worth buying. My advice, try another adapter. This one does not work for long and it is not worth paying anything for a device that only works for a month or two.
