Bjork Maja Wood Open Back Leather Clogs

Fit is great, beautifully made, staples are even , leather looks of very good quality , color rich, lightweight, footbed shaped nicely(not too aggressive, but comfortable and supportive in correct places) comfortable straight out of box. Fit nicely with or without socks. Brought 41 according to company suggestion for size 10. I have a wide, thick foot and short toes. Measure exactly 9 1/2 wide at shoe store. Wear 40 wide in Dansko professional closed back clogs and 40 in Dansko Sonja open back clog. Have a 39 wide in Dansko XP - it is a tad short, but doable once broken in. These are true to size in length per the brand size chart and definitely cut to fit a wider foot. If your foot is more on the narrow width, I think maybe a size down from chart suggestion. I ordered Vollsjo, they looked very nice and were fairly inexpensive, but ran too narrow for me in size 40 and hurt to walk in. I was afraid they’d hurt even in larger size so returned. Company was excellent to deal with. These look the best of any I’ve ordered, not clunky or heavy at all, and look good on my foot. Very pleased with quality and price.! Definitely ordering more colors. I am hard to fit, teach middle school all day standing constantly. These are highly recommended!

These are AWESOME. Very comfortable. The toe box is ideal for foot structure. The sole, with upturned toe area is helpful in reducing foot fatigue and pain in arthritic toes, and overall leg fatigue. They absolutely run large, however, I wear heavy socks in the cold weather. Due to reconstructive surgery in both my feet and ankles, having the room for extra thick socks is so much better. My bones have cushioning, support and don't rub or have pressure. Tgese clogs are so well made. I am highly satisfied. Thank you!

Wore without socks and vinyl on inner sole peeled. Was all over bottom of my feet. Should not happen for a $90 shoe! Great looking, just like mine from the 70’s which were not $90 so would expect better quality

Thank you Amazon for missizing my shoes. 1 and 2. I have wide toes. The clogs are fine and are comfortable. Wooden Dr Scholl’s veteran here. HOWEVER - i ordered a 9-9.5 which SHOULD GIVE ME MORE THAN ENOUGH LENGTH. That is not what i have. My heels are right on the back. If i have a millimeter there from my heel to the edge - i will need a microscope to find it. You should have some space so your heel is stabilized and you aren’t walking out of your clogs. Awesome. I hate sending crap back because they don’t sort it back - they put it in an unwanted pile of not going to sort or fix that and put it back. I guess i will have tiny clean feet for special occasions. I have to order a 10- 10.5. We had Swedes in our church. Their clogs were huge. They are meant for everyday wear and stability not - little kids clothing option. The toe box is small. It’s almost the same identical pair i ordered from clog world only Bjork - has a more square toe and clog world has a more rounded tapered toe. You should be able to wear wool socks in your clogs.

These are really cute. At first they can be a bit uncomfortable. I bought them for work and at first I had to switch them out. Once they are broken in I feel they are stable and comfortable. They add 2-3 inches to my height which I like since I’m 5’2”

These felt like an amazing find at first, and wearing them does give me relief from foot pain after a connective tissue injury. The soles are shaped perfectly for arch support and toe splay (although it may be smart to wear them for short periods of time initially till you get used to walking in them). Several crucial things wrong with them though - first, the plastic/rubber outsole is so hard that it makes walking across anything but carpet a staccato announcement of your presence. That same outsole is also great at picking up minute pieces of gravel, dirt, twigs, etc. and is extremely difficult to clean. I eventually replaced the outsole (carefully tore it off with a vice grips) with a true rubber sole and the shoes were much quieter. I also added a thin pigskin insole (peeled off the leather heel cushion, placed the pigskin, and replaced the heel cushion in its original location) so that my feet don't slide around in the shoe so much. Unfortunately these measures only solved some of the problems with these shoes. The wood chips very easily (as you can see in other reviews, too - the grain should run horizontally rather than vertically, as it does), and the leather (is it? isn't it??) cracks unnaturally around the edges. All this after only wearing the shoes for about 4 hrs/week during the cold months of the past year. PROS: comfortable, alleviates foot pain, supports foot properly CONS: wood chips, footbed is slippery, outsoles are LOUD, pick up dirt, and are hard to clean, and the leather (if it is leather) cracks prematurely. They've been comfortable enough that I'm sold on wooden clogs, but I'll be looking elsewhere for my next pair.

The toe box is wide, the craftsmanship and quality is fantastic. Just like they used to be back in the 70s! Have to save up my money and grab a few more colors!
