Scraper works as it should, includes blades
The scraper was somewhat difficult to install the blade, needs to be done from one side and not the other. It is easy to extend and retract, as it should be, and the handle is comfortable.I think it is good for removing paint from windows, but I have not used it beyond initial assembly and examination.

Great to Clean Marble Shower Stall Back to Sparkling Finish
We installed a marble shower stall when we moved into our apartment some eight years ago, but over the course of two years, the marble was getting dull and covered with a whitish film. I hired a marble and stone restoration firm and they sent a guy over who, for $375, scraped the bottom row of marble tiles and the floor, restoring the finish like new.The workman told me, however, that I could have saved the money by scraping the marble myself using a single-edged razor blade (one blade per square he recommended). After a couple of years, soap build-up made the shower look old and messy, so I scraped half of the floor using single-edged blades but they were hard to hold and my hand cramped.I saw this scraper and ordered 100 more blades from another vendor on Amazon (which fit) and this does a superb job. After half an hour, I'm half finished, so I'm leaving the rest for the weekend.

Paint scraper
Got this to scrape off paint off a glass pallet. Was a little worried about a few reviews mentioning about the switch getting stuck but so far no such thing has occurred. Seems well made and works great for my purposes.

Possible Faulty scraper.
I use this to clean my oil painting palette. Now it's time to change out the blade and it's even harder to take off than it was to push up the safety clip and insert the razor. I asked my husband to help me and it wouldn't budge. I wish I could get a replacement, mine may be faulty.

Cleaned Up My Problems For $6.84
I recently paid $200.00 to have my exterior windows recaulked by two "experts". When I went outside to check the completed job I noticed that rather than remove the old dried-up caulk, they simply put new caulk over the old. This resulted in a sloppy mess that wasn't appropriate for keeping the windows sealed and of course looked terrible. After watching a YouTube video I ordered this razor knife to help trim up the globs of caulk and then recaulk as necessary. This flat scraper is perfect for trimming/removing the old caulk. It provides a good grip, is of course razor sharp, and being flat it is very efficient at completing this job. It works so well that I decided to tackle the old caulking in our shower that has mildewed and changed color. Things are a lot easier when you have the proper tools!

Getting the blade out for first use - using my hands to pull it out didn't work...
So this scraper was just what I needed, but when I first received it I was unable to figure out how to get the blade in and out. Here is what you do:- Know that there is already a blade in the scraper when you receive it - but it is upside down.- To remove it, move the slider to the top, turn the scraper over and notice that it has "to remove" with an arrow and "to insert" with the opposite arrow.- Hit the blade on the corner of something that won't get hurt by the hitting and hit the blade out towards the "remove" arrow. If you try to pull it out with your hands the blade won't budge.- Turn the blade over so the sharp side is out and insert it in the appropriate direction and then hit it again into place.I wouldn't have thought that hitting it into and out of place would be necessary - but on my scraper it was. I hope this is helpful to you as well. Happy scraping!!

Worth it.
This thing is cheap but it's all metal design is really nice for what you're paying. Also the fact that it comes with replacement blades is convenient, I've done a lot of gasket scraping of my Jeep with the first blade and it has held up well.
