My first dip in these waters
So I read this in the spring. It was my first foray into romance fiction. I didn't even pick it out on purpose. it was suggested by my strange little kindle machine and the cover looked interesting, especially after I read the description. So I bought it and read it in one sitting. Ms. Beers is frankly an amazing author--I've read every full length novel she's written and have her on my watch list. The characters in this book are so completely likable. Lindsey is a character with actual depth, and Piper is such a conundrum. Watching them come together was entrancing. There was a good amount of angst/conflict and the resolution was good as well.Since I read this book, I bought and read everything by Ms. Beers, and also by Melissa Brayden. Once I looked at how much money I was dropping in such a short time, I realized I had to start reading the Kindle Unlimited offerings. There are a lot of good stories there, but I do happen upon some real duds.Generally, after a really awful book, I'll go back and reread one of Ms. Beers stories to "cleanse my palette". I've now read this one 3 times and all the other titles 2x. Yes, I know what's going to happen, but that doesn't make the story any less sweet. This book absolutely changed how I feel about romance fiction. If you're on the fence and looking to try some of this genre look no further.

Who wrote this review?
This is a slooooow burn about a general manager of a wine bar, Lindsay Kent, and the bar owner’s daughter, a dress suit and heels professional, Piper Bradshaw. Read “About this book” for more detail about the plot line.I’ll just get right to it. I thought this book, while well written enough, was very slow for the first 70%. If this was to reinforce Piper’s chilly professional, angst filled personality, it was overkill. I was listening to the Audible while reading along on the Kindle, and even though the words were grayed as the narrator spoke them and the visual was constantly moving (I increased the speed), I kept falling a sleep. However, once the story got some legs it was good. Bradshaw coming to terms with herself and Lindsay giving her the cold shoulder long enough for Piper to succeed saved the story. Although, as I think on it, the little there was sex was just vanilla at best.I also have to consider that I might be getting tired of the standard lesbian romance formula.

Another great book to add to the GB collection
Georgia Beers is one of my top favorite authors. I will purchase and read anything she puts out without hesitation because I've never been disappointed in any of the almost two dozen books she has gifted us with. All of her stories are well crafted, well edited, and developed in a way that draws you in and won't let you put them down. Her characters are loveable, their actions and words believable, and the sexy scenes are always hot! I anxiously await the next release!

Not Great
Was this the best book I've ever read? No. Was this the worst book I've ever read? No. Overall pretty boring, though the setting and characters were compelling, this was not well-written. There could have been more character development in the "show, don't tell" kind of way. In a lot of circumstances I felt like I was reading a 17yos diary, not a story about two adults in their 30s. I love to read so I can't say I regret reading this but it's one you'd rather take out from the library than buy.

Where's the tension??
This was another smooth read from Ms. Beers. I enjoyed the characters and setting, and the plot, however, there was a huge missed opportunity with the tension between Lindsay and Piper. For two women who supposedly disliked each other, they were never in a heated argument or disagreement over anything, really. They came together and compromised, and fell way too easily into each other, to the point of annoyance. This book could have been LIT. On fire. But the lack of tension ruined it for me. It was still a nice, sweet read, but it lacked the sizzle I was hoping for.

War Of The Wines
The characters were three dimensional, very likable, slightly flawed, and nod initially attracted to each other. The initial hostility between the two main characters, (more felt by them expressed) faded as each saw the side that meshed with their own, I loved this book and know I will be reading it again( as soon as I read the rest of Georgia's books while waiting for her speed up her keyboarding skills. (another thing I really liked, is that I didn't have to make any spelling or grammar corrections in the notes)(those things break the story flow for me.)

Easy love story
I enjoyed the book and was glad it was written from both Piper & Lindley's perspective. I could just not understand the attraction Lensley had towards Piper. The way she treated her was really awful. Although Piper had issues with love & trust she mostly acted like a spoiled brat. Linsley was content & solid from the start. I enjoyed the read and will recommend it to any one who enjoys a sweet love story & an easy read. The author writes well & her work is more professional than many others in this genre.

An easy read
As a big fan of Georgia Beers I'll always buy her books and I'll always enjoy them. However, I honestly thought this story wasn't up to her usual standard, and I'd rate it as a 3+/4-. It seemed to lack something in the story and I felt the characters repeated things I've heard before. Nevertheless, I'd still recommend it. (If you haven't already read the author's other books, they're all wonderful)

It's not one
Of her best, but still a very enjoyable read. There is a little twist in the end, but sadly all others are predictable from the start. Still, good read.

Fantastic Read
Beers has a wonderful gift of creating such indepth characters that when I finish the book I feel like I've made some wonderful friends. Blend was no different, I know whenever I pick up a Beers title I'll be entertained and captured.

Great reading
This is what I enjoy. Girl meets girl, they fall in love, there is a misunderstanding, they make up and they live happily ever after. Life is tough enough so let's find happiness.
