Bocchi the Rock!, Vol. 3 (Volume 3)

Volume 3 of the Bocchi the Rock! continues the story of high schooler Hitori Gotoh and her experience as a guitarist in Kessoku Band. In this volume, Kessoku Band attempts to expand the scope of their exposure by playing at new and unfamiliar venues and also trying to make a splash on social media. I thought that the artwork in this volume worked well and continued with the quality work that is expected based on the two previous volumes. As is a staple of this series, the expressions that the characters are given is great especially when it comes to the main character of Hitori as she battles her own insecurities in dealing with crowds and fame. The story is another aspect that I enjoyed in this volume. The volume continues with what has been going on as Kessoku Band has more experience and confidence to try to expand out of their usual venue and play music in front of new people. But this includes new challenges as well such as competition from other acts. I also appreciated the ever presence humor as characters sometimes find themselves in awkward situations. There were a few jokes that made me laugh out loud while reading this. This was a very enjoyable installment of this series that is sure to be enjoyed by anyone who has read and liked the previous volumes.

Beautiful story of kindness and social anxiety. I loved that it used music to tell it. Music is such a uniting and freeing thing. Wonderfully told story.

The book is in great shape, no bends or page rip in sight. Volume 3 of Bocchi the Rock, showing the Kessoku Band getting closer together, as they strive to make their first demo. The band deepens their friendship with their somewhat rivals the Sideros. Each character slowly starts developing more as a new year also begins, with this being a new chance for Bocchi-chan to make friends with her classmates, well at least Kita-chan will be there. Another fantastic ride in the story, as it still doesn't hold back on how hard it is to succeed as a band. Just hang in their Bocchi-chan!

I'm a massive fan of bocchi the rock and this is another brilliant volume, my only slight would be that 8 panels squeezed onto a page rather than its original 4 panel, so the print is a bit on the small side. Love this series, loved the anime, love the album, can't wait to see the movies. Hope they make a second season!

I bought the eBook as a season 2 replacement and I love it. I have now ordered the first two volumes as a book

This is the third volume of the series and till now, they probably have covered only till Volume 2 (not the whole volume but the most part of it), but the continuation of this gets pretty interesting as they introduce new characters... You'll find some new traits about the main characters and will also enjoy how they interact with the newly introduced characters in this Volume. I highly recommend this book if you liked the Anime series and are also a fan of reading mangas. Obviously the manga wouldn't contain Kessoku Band's songs but it's fun guessing out what song will they put in that place. Y'all will have a lotta fun reading it as it's one of the best Slice of Life animes I personally am a huge fan of this series frfr
