Lovely powerful docking station with ridiculous connectivity!
The connectivity available on a simple USB-C port is getting silly now!Three full 4K monitor ports, plus a bunch of other connectors, going as far back as a 3.5.mm audio socket, all in one little "hub" connector.I don't like these being called docking stations because, although technically you can connect to it as the only connection to a laptop, I prefer that term for something that actually sits under or on the laptop itself neatly - this is just a separate hub, but none the worse for that given the connectivity.I manage the IT in a prestigious private school, and we have a docking station and multiple monitors on every teacher's desk, including connections to the interactive whiteboard for display and touch, so the number of cables to be plugged in correctly is enormous. Our solution is to use these kinds of hubs/docking stations so that there's only one cable for the teacher to plug in, and things tend to stay in the same order once detected once and adjusted. This one was great for that, and was able to drive dual monitors (for private use of the teacher) and the interactive screen over the rest of our cabling, plus networking and pass-through power charging at a decent rate. So the teacher plugs in one cable, is on the net, showing everything they need to show, and charging their laptop at the same time, and they can just rip out the cable to rush to their next lesson without any cabling hassles.Worked great, couldn't fault it, and we have quite demanding numbers / types of devices / users.

Nothing exciting, but does the job well
This hub comes in minimal retail packaging, just an outer thin card box with the item wrapped inside a plastic sleeve (which seems to be the biodegradable plastic type, which is good to see). It gives almost no protection to the product except keeping it clean. For the money this is a bit poor. The hub itself is much more solid, with what appears to be a metal inner and outer. The ports are nice and robust and the fit isn’t too tight. Cables can be removed with one hand no problem. It’s not a super-compact unit but also isn’t annoying to carry in your trouser pocket. The 12 ports are, specifically: 2 x HDMI ports, 1 x DisplayPort, 1 x Type C PD 3.0 port at 85W, 2 x USB 3.0 port, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, 1 x Gigabit ethernet, 1 x SD slot, and 1 x TF slot, and a 3.5mm audio portPlease note that on the video side of things there are specific restrictions regarding simultaneous outputs, so read the product description carefully to ensure it suits your needs. There are less restrictions on PC than on Mac, but you should still pay close attention to the specification. The maximum refresh on any of the ports at 4K is 60Hz.During testing all ports were up to their stated speed, except the PD 85W’ port, which only gave 75W at best. This is a standard performance and isn’t a problem as far as I am concerned. The listed price is £49.99, a lot cheaper than the equivalent ‘official’ product from Dell/HP or Microsoft. For the number of ports on this and the video performance this is a decent price and far cheaper than many more famous branded products.Note there is currently a 10% discount voucher for this product on Amazon, making it a little bit more tempting.

Efficient USB Docking Station
I recently purchased this USB docking station, and it has greatly enhanced my productivity. With its ability to support triple monitors, including two HDMI ports and one DisplayPort, it offers expansive display options for multitasking. The 100W power delivery ensures fast charging for my laptop and other devices, eliminating the need for multiple chargers. Additionally, the variety of ports, including USB, SD/TF card slots, and 3.5mm audio, provide seamless connectivity for all my peripherals. While the setup process was straightforward, I found the included instructions to be lacking in detail. Overall, it's a versatile docking station that offers excellent value for its functionality.

Great docking station
With an absolutely boat-load of ports, this usb-c docking station is a beast. At the time of writing this review, the unit is priced at £49.99 with a 10% voucher bringing it down to £45 making it great value in my opinion. It's really well made, with a nice aluminium shell. With 2x HDMI, 1x DP, gigabit network, various USB, memory card readers and even a 3.5mm audio jack.I've tested all the ports and I'm happy to say they all worked as expected with no issues to report.Overall I think this is a great value usb-c docking station and if you're looking for a docking station with the advertised ports, I'd be happy to recommend it.Transparency Notice: I received this product for free through the Amazon Vine program. Great Docking Station
This is a very nice docking station.Made by WAVLINK, this is a high quality computer accessory. I have some other Wavlink products and the quality is always impressive, and this 2024 model of their docking station works perfectly on my 16" Macbook Pro.This is a 12 in 1 docking stations and provides my Macbook Pro with so many options...especially since my laptop only has 4 USB-C ports...so I really need many of the extra options that this docking station provides! The Wavlink includes 2 HDMI, 1 Displayport, 100W PD in, 5Gbps USB3.0, USB2.0, RJ45, SD/TF Slots, and Audio/Mic...all of these are so wonderful to have now, for all of my legacy computer devices, and for new devices as well.I do a lot of video and photography work, and in particular I need an SD card reader to read the files from my video camera and DSLR camera. The SD card slot on the Wavlink works great, and I can put my SD cards into it, and now easily read the files on my Macbook Pro.A very versatile docking station, with a quality feeling with the construction and materials used. 5 stars.

Perfect your display device connections
USB-C hubs or multiport adapters come with numerous, but still limited functionality expansions. Extra USB ports and a USB power PD port are the usual options. This one interestingly skips the PD input, but offers up to 4 display outputs (and in high quality) using 3 different standards, and at a very good price too.It has 7 output ports: 2 x DP (DisplayPort) ports, an HDMI ports, a VGA port, and 3 x USB-A 2.0 ports.Regarding the ports, this one seems especially useful in expanding your display device outputs in two different use cases: 1) making sure you are equipped to use a variety of display devices when you take your laptop for a presentation, or 2) having the capability of using 4 monitors, and with high quality outputs. Normally, I would emphasize the first point, but the display output capability of this device is higher than what you would need for a basic presentation, such as a max of 8K@60Hz or 4K@144Hz. Of course, if you use 4 monitors at the same time, the video quality of each monitor will also go down.It uses a single USB-C port of your computer and gives you back none as it has no USB-C output ports. So if you need more USB-C ports, this one does not help. My laptop has a single USB-C port, but 3 USB-A ports, so this would use the only USB-C port I had and offer 3 more (slow) USB-A ports on top of the ones that I already had. However, MacBook owners with a few USB-C ports and no USB-A ports might appreciate that it will give you 3 more, albeit slow, USB-A ports. The device has a metal body and looks sturdy. Its input cable seems more rigid than other similar multiport adapters I have seen, probably to allow for a higher rate of data transfer speed for higher quality of video outputs. It is very small and lightweight, so it is also perfect for portability. The output ports are clearly marked.Such devices usually have a USB PD (power delivery) power port as well, however, this one does not. This is not an important factor for charging in my case as my laptop already has a separate power connection and it requires more than the common 100W PD capacity anyway. However, I suspect that such PD ports might also help with powering the port connections too; without such a port, your laptop will definitely have to power the port connections as well. Also note that not all USB-C ports offer the same abilities. To use the display outputs of this device, you have to make sure that your computer's USB-C port supports that. In fact, for the high quality video outputs, it requires an advanced level of requirements for the USB-C port. In addition, they also mention that the number of monitors supported can also be limited for some Window laptops. Speaking of Windows, unlike other similar devices, this one clearly states that it is not compatible with any MacOS computers.Overall, this is a good multiport adapter to expand your computer's functionality, but make sure the expansions it offers are those that you need. For being able to use a variety of display hardware, this is golden, especially considering that it even has the old school VGA output. It is also very useful for having a high quality video output for a number of monitors at the same time. The price of $40 CAD at the time of writing also seems to be a great deal, lower than some other similar devices with a lower quality of video outputs.

Great product
The media could not be loaded. It’s small, not too heavy, space saver, very effficient and easy to use.I needed to connect two of my dell monitors to my HP laptop and I had a DP cord so I bought this cause it has the DP port and once I connected it, it worked perfectly no problem and no troubleshooting. Great buy for me.

Love having this around
I got this USB C dock to add to my collection.I initially thought that I wouldn't use the USB-C dock that much, assuming that I already had more than enough ports between my laptop and PC. However, I did not realize just how convenient they are to use, especially for my work as a researcher. This let's me expand the number of USB-A ports I have available so that all of my research devices that I have to upload the data of can be uploaded at the same time. This is incredibly convenient. Also, I have a few co-workers that work on their macbooks, and they don't have ethernet, HDMI ports, or display ports, which reduces their efficiency at work. I often lend them my USB docks, including this one, so they can use their macbooks with faster internet speeds (the ethernet port on this dock can support the full speed our organization provides us), the ability to connect to monitors, and also to connect to our projector/TV in our conference room.Honestly, I haven't used the SD or microSD card slots yet, but I anticipate using them soon as my workplace is planning to transition our research equipment to some that use SD cards for data storage.I will note that you will need to sacrifice one USB-C slot to connect this dock to your device. The USB-C slot on the dock does not allow for data transfer, so you may want to ensure your device has more than one USB-C slot, or make sure that you don't need a USB-C slot capable of data transfer if you want to use the dock.Otherwise, this dock is wonderful and I've had no issues with it. It serves my needs completely, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a USB-C dock.
