My First Story Orchestra: The Nutcracker: Press the buttons to hear 6 sounds (The Story Orchestra)

We absolutely love all the story orchestra books they are a firm favourite in our household, purchased this a a gift for a 18 month for Christmas, would only let child have supervised due to the battery element but we’ve had loads of these books and never had an issue with the battery. Great gift for a younger child before getting the larger books.

Lovely Christmas Eve book

Great idea, but half of the buttons don’t work (and yes, I tried to replace the batteries before writing this)

I always love the story of the nutcracker and it’s my favourite ballet, I loved the concept with this story that it plays 10 seconds of music for each page as you read and look at it with your child you hear the gorgeous music.The illustrations were so adorable to look at I loved seeing the sugar plum land with everyone dancing so beautifully. These are going to be loved by families as they will have a great time looking at these beautiful illustrations.I do wish that more of the story was told, I understand it’s for little ones so it’s kept short, but I felt like so much of the story had been cut off, parts that are really integral to understanding what’s going on, which is a shame they get cut with how beautiful it is.

Authentic music - it's a gorgeous book

Just 6 weeks after buying this book - it had been in use for 4 weeks - one of buttons stopped working. Present for child of 12 months so only adults had pressed buttons. We checked batteries but they were fine. Such a shame as a super idea.

Beautiful book, perfect for the holiday season

Nice art work and the quality of the music is good (even if the excerpts are a little short). Unfortunately some of the buttons have stopped working after 2 weeks, which is very disappointing.
