Look the part, comfortable for long periods, sound great.
Final vr3000 review I am a big fan of Final’s earbuds, having used a few pairs of their lower end models. I’ve always been impressed with build and sound quality, and definitely always found them a significant value prospect. This is the first pair that I have tried from their ‘gaming’ line, and I am equally impressed. Out of the box, they are a reasonably no-frills offering. A better-than-average soft-touch storage pouch, the standard final audio Velcro cable-tidy (I love this cable tidy) and various ear tips. I have pretty small ears (true story, I was once told by an audiologist “you’ve got really small ears you know, like... like a woman’s ears...”) but the stock tips fit absolutely fine on me. Fit-wise, the body of the earphones fits nicely into my ear and I have had no issues with hot-spots or discomfort over time. They are described by Final’s marketing team as “near customized fit”. Having used some custom IEMs in the past, I’m not sure quite how near they are getting, but for universal fit, they are pretty darn good. If you are somebody who likes to sleep with IEMs in, these are probably low profile enough that you’d be able to use the, for this. The matte black is also really slick-looking; they come across like a really well put together product. Also in the box were a set of ear hooks, designed for both comfort and to eliminate cable noise and microphonics. They were a *little* fiddly to attach to the cables, and I almost didn’t bother. The cable itself is really nice (which is good, as it is non-replaceable) and not particularly prone to microphonics anyway, but these being designed for gaming, it makes sense to eliminate distractions as much as possible. Once I did attach them, they actually work surprisingly well. The high frequency cable noise is eliminated almost entirely, and the rest dampened. Well worth taking the time to fiddle and get these attached when you receive these. There’s also a cable slider, however it gets stuck on the microphone dongle before it gets high enough to secure these around the back of your head (for monitoring etc.) Isolation on these is pretty unremarkable. Using them to drown out background Christmas carols was effective while music was playing, but there was a little bleed-through otherwise. Sound-wise, these are really pleasing. Final make a big play of these being tuned to gaming applications, which means they are aiming for soundstage and clarity. Clarity wise, they are really nice, top end is slightly exaggerated, giving some good spatial clues. This clarity in the top end also helps give a sense of sparkle, with those little clicks and pops of detail shining through nicely. Soundstage wise, from an IEM is never going to give the widest, but it was pretty accurate sounding. Listening to orchestral music it was very possible to close eyes and get some instrument locations, which I am sure would translate well to giving you a sense of realism in VR. I tried these with some binaural recordings, and they gave a really excellent convincing effect. They have a strong bass response, but not overblown. It goes nice and low, and there is enough of it, but it doesn’t feel overly emphasised. A track like “teardrop” by Massive Attack gives a really pleasurable bass hit. Obviously not as visceral as speakers, or even an over ear headphone, but the right controlled nature of the bass means it feels like it’s hitting that bit harder. Midrange is clean and I noticed no unpleasant dips or peaks in the response. Vocals are rendered cleanly and pleasantly. Listening to Joni Mitchell or Imogen Heap was a pleasure with these. The high end is also really nicely done with these. It definitely feels slightly treble heavy, which gives the sense of increased details. However, this does not appear to become fatiguing, for normal listening durations. For an IEM worn for gaming, this is a big plus, as it means they can be work for extended periods, with neither physical nor sonic fatigue. These are not the most expensive pair of headphones I have played with, and by no means the cheapest, but I really think they do hold their own. They look the part, feel comfortable, and sound really nice. Highly recommended.

Good for gaming NOT for music
I purchased these a while back and used them constantly for COD MW on PS4 attached to DS4 controller. My original headphones were Astro A50 Gen 4's which until a few COD updates ago were great. I decided to try the in-ear type aftyer reading several reviews and migrated towards the FINAL VR3000's. The main change for me was going from a bassy sound to a VERY trebly sound but I stuck with it and after just a few days, was usued to it and became the norm. I stuck with because I was BLOWN AWAY by the detail of the enviornment, footsteps etc so they are PERFECT for gaming except I haven't found anyway of adjusting the volume with the FINAL's (just adjust from PS4 settings)? My KD shot up within hours and I actually felt like a contender being more run and gun rather than sneaking about lol. Comfort wise generally fine but I play for over four or five hours regularly and have noticed the pointy edges of the casing starts annoying my ears a little (but only a little). The cord is a decent length and as said by most reviewers, the ear loops take a bit of getting used to but when muscle memory kicks in they go on in a jiffy. So am I still using them - Well not at the moment - Why? MW3 season 1 update GRRRRR has spoiled everything so I am back to the Astros tempoarily (personal EQ) until I can sort the settings for the FINALs. A point to mention is I tried them for MUSIC on my iPhone and my PC - One word TERRIBLE. Would I recommend - For gaming absolutely and would happily give them 9/10...point deducted for the pointy edge casing and the lack of volume adjustment when attached to the PS4 DS4 controller.

VR2000 earphones - fantastic sound positioning - great for VR
The first thing worth pointing out is the Final VR2000 earphones are the latest version following on from the popular and well reviewed VR3000 earphones. Given the numbering this isn’t immediately clear and I only found out after looking at reviews. Like their predecessor, the focus is very much on gaming with a particular focus on being able to hear things like footsteps and importantly their position in a 360 virtual reality environment. This has worked really well and improves the gaming experience. The payoff is they are not particularly strong in the bass department, so if listening to a lot of music rather than gaming, these are probably not the right product. I am using the earphones with a Meta Quest 3, they are a perfect match with the cable length just about right. I run the cable along the right hand side of the headset so it can drop directly down at the back. The earphones are a very pleasing dark olive green, the design is stylish and they are surprisingly light which means you can wear them for extended periods in comfort. They come with a variety of earbuds so getting the perfect fit is an easy process. Little rubber hooks to go over the ear are also included. They help position the cable which they recommend going over the top of your ears rather than dangling straight down. I would highly recommend using this option as it helps keep them in position and adds to the comfort. Overall I’m really impressed, these are great gaming earphones and particularly come into their own when gaming in a virtual reality. Recommended!

I'm extremely happy with both the product and the service! The seller was incredibly patient and helpful in resolving an issue with an overcharged UPS shipping fee — truly appreciated. The product itself is excellent — high quality and works perfectly. I’m very satisfied and would definitely buy again.

For the price of 70 euros, the VR3000s are quite a steal! If you're looking for a great pair of earphones for gaming, I would recommend these to anyone! Below I am just going to list the parts of these that are particularly important to me! Sound: In General, when it comes to sound, people think music and you have to remember, these were designed to deliver the best experience for videogames and not music. That being said, there were a few songs that really kicked ass when using these, Waltz by Mother Falcon being a personal favourite. If you are a fan of orchestral/symphonic music then these would be a great choice, especially if you are a commuter and need to block out unnecessary external noise. Tuning - Overall, the tuning of these is quite flat which is honestly great for videogames. Comparing them to my pairs of headphones they are most similar to the Sennheiser 560s (my number one choice for gaming). Imaging - Quite amazing, what Final Audio describes on their website is honestly pretty damn accurate, the directional hearing of these is brilliant. Soundstage - One word... BIG! The soundstage of these is ridiculously huge when you consider that they are in ears. Combining this with the top-notch imaging you can tell exactly where someone is in a competitive shooter or give you a realistic-sounding environment when using virtual reality. Build Quality & Comfort: This is probably the most negative part of my review, but I think everyone else's experience might be different. Cable - The cable feels light and fragile but is in fact decently sturdy, it does connect via a 2-pin connector to the IEM so there is hopefully the chance for swapping it out. IEM Body - The shape and structure of the IEM itself is ergonomic but I think for my ear there is a corner that could be removed and these would fit much better. They also made it as light as possible as gamers tend to wear them for long periods of time with little or no breaks, this is actually quite nice. Comfort - These are fairly comfortable but I think being ruined by using mostly Sennheiser IEMs, nothing can beat the comfort of those and I believe that anyone who has tried them before will state the same. And Finally.... Video Games: Final Audio set out to do one thing, make the best possible IEM for gaming and I think they did just that. Aside from a few things like having a sturdier cable/different housing shape, these are pretty much the best in-ears you'll ever find for gaming in the current market. I have been playing games on a competitive level for most of my life at this point, in a range of genres. I started with RTS games originally and then moved on to Mobas and now I am currently invested in Battle Royales, particularly Apex Legends. I work full time and thus cannot do as many tournaments/ranked as I normally would like but still somehow managed to have about 3,500 hours at this point. Soundstage | Good or Bad? For competitive shooters, obviously directional hearing (imaging) is a must-have and there is a lot of controversy over stage size when it comes to these kinds of shooters. Small - There is the benefit of hearing everything, including something you might miss otherwise. I could see how this is good for some cases as you will know if there is a rat hiding nearby, where shots come from, etc. But honestly, this is quite awful when trying to pinpoint distance when you whip around or are trying to determine what floor they are on. Big - When you have a bigger soundstage this adds another level of detail when in a shooter. You are fully immersed in an environment that you can hear as you normally would. There have been countless times when I have determined where an enemy team is that my teammates have not been able to, are they on the other side of the mountains, what floor they're on, are they in the building or behind it. I am sure if you gave any professional player the option of using headphones/earphones with a large soundstage and good imaging they would pick it 100% of the time. (Imagine having a 3D map in your head) The VR3000 does an amazing job at reproducing the sound in a videogame. Though the soundstage/quality is not as good as my reference Sennheiser 560s, they're still quite amazing and would choose to game with them over my pair of 598SEs any day. When I tested them in VR, as expected, they retain the same highly immersive audio and are quite comfortable/snuggly fit. The End No matter how much praise I can give these, for 70 bucks, you won't find another product remotely as good for video games. There is a huge trend going on with streamers using in-ears for gaming and I hope that they read this and try this pair of earphones, they're truly amazing. I will end the review here with a final statement and hope that I at least convinced one person to give these a try. Imagine taking a studio-tuned pair of open-back headphones and cram that into an IEM and that is what you will get with the VR3000.
