Men's quartz watch. Resin case, resin band, resin, glass. One of Casio's least expensive watches and one of the best. This specific model MW-240, the face is 3.5 centimeters across with large numbers making it easy to read for older folks or people who wear glasses, but not so large as to look out of place (remember this is a men's watch.) In a month it can lose time by +/- a minute or two. I reset mine once a week to keep it accurate. It is battery operated and super simple to use. The little knob on the side does nothing other than set the time. Pull it out to stop the watch. Turn it to set time. Look at another more accurate clock. When the time is right press the knob to start watch again. This is the 2nd one I have owned. It says it has a 3 year battery. Mine lasted 3 years 2 months. You could go to the trouble of replacing the battery but for $5 a year it is easier to just discard the watch and buy a new one. One issue - Casio makes other watches which in amazon's photos look nearly identical to this one. When I replaced the old one I bought what looked like the same watch with white background and black numbers. It was about half the size of the MW-240 and I could not read it. Make sure the listing says "Easy to Read Display" and the "case diameter" is around 44 millimeters. A basic watch. Does nothing except tell time. Super easy to use. Inexpensive. Easy to read. Should be Casio's best seller.

Just a simple watch that looks good and keeps time. No bells and whistles. I'm trying to get away from checking my phone for the time because inevitably that sucks me into social media, etc. This watch is perfect solution. Water resistant so no worries about rain or moisture causing issues. Large clear numbers. No night light which some may want but I don't need. Watch back is removable instead of snap on like my old Timex - so you can easily change out the battery without a watch press. Feels lightweight on the arm and the face is the perfect size. Price point is spectacular. Does not make any noise.

Great watch. Looks great. Not too small. Keeps accurate time. No buttons to push. A simple dumb retro watch. Can be read in low illumination without any glow or internal light. Cassio brand. That's good. Not made in China. Made in Malaysia. Good fabric and leather watch band with Velcro closure. I like it.

Casio is well known for the quality of their products, and this product is no exception. Nevertheless, there are a couple of things that should be known:1. The watch is by no means 44 mm in diameter. Its diameter is only 41 mm, 41.5 mm tops, excluding the crown, of course.2. The strap o this watch is made of rubber. Rubber is comfortable for small straps/small watches, like F-91 W. The Casio G-Shock series is also very well designed, and the straps sit well in my wrist. But in this model (MW-240), I find the strap rather stiff and uncomfortable, leaving marks in my wrist. The loop also does not hold its position (too big?). At the end, I replaced the original strap of this watch by a third-party smartwatch silicone strap, and all problems were solved.

I am a watch collector and wanted to add a simple, light weight, incredibly cheap, clean looking everyday watch to my collection and this is definitely a great buy. Love the simplicity and the clean look. I recommend it for anyone who wants a real watch without any bells and whistles.

I purchased this just for swimming. I have about 4 different "smart watches" and none of them give me a simple, easy to read watch face. This one is just great. There's no swim clock where I go so hence the need for a nice, low profile, light weight and easy to read watch face. Been using it for about 4 months now it's working great and easy to read the second hand. You just set the time and you're good to go. Would buy again in a heart beat.

Keeps accurate time. Inexpensive daytime watch. No light or glowing numbers. Nice big numbers though.

Great watch , I bought the smaller version before and had it for a long time until the bands wore out and broke so I ungraded to this one. It’s not much larger but it’s water resistant, durable and easy to use. It would be a great inexpensive gift.
