Easy to install, worked great
Very easy to install, just pop the dash cover and swap the module. Fixed blinking/dimming dash lights in a 2006 Tahoe.

Quick install
Switch works well, no more jiggling the switch to get the dash lights to stay on. Easy plug in. Hardest part was dash removal and replacement, but even that wasn't bad. 2004 Suburban 1500

It fixed my dimming dash lights. It squeaks like others said.
I bought this after reading the reviews about the color not matching, and the wheel squeeking. Both are true. It's a darker black. I don't stare at it all the time so I don't care. I care more about my instrument lights working. I wasn't able to adjust them any time they'd come on and sometimes rolling the adjustment a few times fixed it. Installing this fixed it and I wanted to buy AC Delco parts instead of knockoffs because it makes me feel better and helps me sleep at night knowing I used OEM parts. I also like spending money on things and this was a thing I spent money on.Side bonus was I discovered the entire unit lights up an my previous one didn't. I don't think it is GREEN like another person said. It's not 100% white compared to the other buttons in the area. I'm sure my local truck meet will point this out along with the paint peeling off my Duramax because GM went cheap on the primer 12+ years ago and the white paint flakes off.It dims the lights and works perfect. If you want ACDelco buy this. If you want cheap parts don't buy this because it's squeaky when you roll it super fast (How often are you adjusting the lights from 0-100-0-100% while driving?) and I got over it by not adjusting my lights all the time I'm driving. Amazon was SLIGHTLY cheaper than Rock Auto for next day shipping. I didn't want to wait so I paid Amazon prices. Rock Auto has lots of 5% coupons too.EDIT: 2/20/20 update. It is not squeeky. I can use this in my truck like normal and not even notice if there is a noise. Also, I can't tell you if it is too dark, or light, or off colored because I don't eyeball it daily. It DID fix my flickering instrument panel lights.

Exact replacement for 07 Silverado classic 1500
Exact replacement. The only thing about it is the night light on it is green. That’s my only issue. But I can live with it. Seller should the information of color in the product description.I thought it’ll fix my dimming light on half of my cluster gauge but it didn’t. There’s another issue some where but it’s ok because I got a parts replaced with new one.
