Works well with linux
The power adapter is my only issue, it is a custom tip shaped like USB. For anyone put off by other reviews saying it's not for ai /ml work, don't be put off by users who don't know what they are doing, everything works on linux, great value.

Uses custom power cable, doesn't install Ubuntu 22.04 for AI/ML work
I got this laptop to work on AI/ML projects which require Ubuntu 22.04 installation. It has been nothing but pain to make it work. First it was pretty hard to install Ubuntu on it (in 800x600 mode where you couldn't even click buttons to complete installation), but somehow our IT team was able to help out. However, support for the chipset/graphics card drivers from MSI is absent. The Ubuntu installation gets hosed if you try to upgrade to Nvidia drivers, trackpad doesn't quite work.I was also expecting it to be a little lighter with a standard USB-C power cable, but it comes with a custom adapter.Stay away from this laptop for serious AI/ML work.
