Great product with unbeatable network quality and value for money data
Great product - 6 GB of 4G data that lasts for three months. It matches my usage profile perfectly. I use it for family trips away from home where my mobile data signal on Vodafone is generally poor and also for work based presentations that require a reliable 4G connection.I've managed to get speeds just in excess of 30 Mb/s (in London) so I assume that the SIM is able to access EE's 4GEE network.I've used the SIM in an iPad and also a 4G WiFI router: https://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-LINK-M7350-LTE-Advanced-Hotspot-Pokemon/dp/B00PFXFWTQThis is my third purchase of this SIM card and I intend to buy more. I had my first one laying around for about 14 months before I used it and when I checked with EE Customer Service I was told that there is no expiry date.

Works perfectly with mobile wifi products, giving excellent UK coverage
I have purchased this product many times for use with my mobile wifi solution. Just plug it in, connect to the device over wifi from your mobile or laptop, wait for the EE activation page to pop up in a browser, and click on Activate. Note there is no need to register to use this card so ignore the Register button. Works perfectly providing brilliant coverage in the UK. Never had any problems with these cards... they always last as long as they say they do... eg the one I installed yesterday gave me 90 days and 5 hours. And the other card I have is a 24GB one that is meant to last a year and so far, its eleven months in, and its still ok, but nearing the limit. Highly recommended

This an excellent product. It provides the lowest price per GB ...
This an excellent product. It provides the lowest price per GB and quite good to acceptable coverage. I gave it four stars because:(1) It is not simple to activate. Impossible if you are on the road and only have your smart phone without any possibility of a wifi connection.(2) The 6 GB data for use over three months deal means that you are limited to using 2 GB per month. If you exceed the use of 2 GB/month, even in the first 30 days, the card will die. Never use it for downloading films. I am not sure about music. Unused data in any month does not carry forward to the following month, either.(3) After using your 6 GB in three months, or exceeding 2 GB in any month, it is very complicated to top up on EE and costs more than three times buying a new card on Amazon, i.e. £20 per 2 GB for use in 30 days!(4) It is best to buy a new card every time you run out of data usage: Provided you have the time to wait for delivery and the patience to activate it.

FAB product from a FAB supplier (EBS Telecoms)
I've used probably nearly a dozen of these SIMS for my M7350 mifi device and they are brilliant! I put it in the car and the kids have data for games, apps, etc. and I have some peace on longer trips. I also use it for work, as I live in rural farmland and the connected ISP speed is sub-1Mb...this EE SIM will produce 50Mb download and 40Mb upload in my "double-speed" 4GEE location. Superb speed and flexibility. They are extremely easy to set up, as many people have stated (don't know why some have issues?!?), all you do is insert the SIM into the device and open a browser...the EE registration page pops up and in two steps (1. Register, 2. Activate) you're up and running. Simples!Handy tip: the SIM will allow you to go over by 250Mb, so don't throw it out once you've hit your 6Gb limit...this consistently works every time for me using the M7350's inbuilt data measures. Thanks EBS Telecoms for selling these at this pricepoint; my only wish is that they would sell higher data volume preloaded SIMs at the same cost-effective price structure, ie. £2.49/Gb for the 6Gb SIM vs £4.48/Gb for the 24Gb SIM.In summary, a fantastic product from a superb, reliable and prompt seller...thanks EBS Telecoms! (Just ordered four more!)

Counterfit cards are getting into the supplu chain
I have been using this for four years now but the last one I bought 24GB from Amazon failed to activate. EE wanted to know nothing about it "you did't buy it from us so we can't support it". Amazon passed me to them. It turned out the card had been activated a month before I was sent it by Amazon - pass on who activated it. Activation you do yourself not by EE. So the packet appeared unopened but the card used, no data on it. EE washed their hands of it, Amazon agreed to refund. This is inline with other 1 star postings here, pre activated cards are being sold which should not be being sold. You activate these yourself by hitting the activate button on the EE web page once installed. I suspect these are returned cards back to Amazon which unscrupulous people do a number transfer on to get the data on the cards then return them. The packs unseal and seal easily. Amazon then sell them thinking they were just returns not that they had the data ripped off them.Clearly if you are going to buy these cards don't buy them in advance for the 12 months since pre-activation will lead to them being deactivated without any use. The card I had should have been good till 2028 as the package said, no. It's a con if the seller is preactivating them for whatever reason or the cards are fake cards that have got into the supply chain. eg. the data has been ripped of them. Obviously tricky for anyone to own up except they are are useless and you are out of pocket. EE don't want to know about it even thou they are their cards. They will look up for you the use which outlines the issue which can only imply a fake card that has been sold but not by them.----My previous notes when I was more positive about the product.Fine but a bit of frigging about to register. Just hit the activate but, don't fill in the screens. If using with say Vonage extensions you may have to spoof the number via another app to register with Vonage. The first SIM was fine, the second SIM had no voice time on it, being a data SIM you wouldn't expect. May be I ran out waiting time typing me details in.If you are swapping Sims every three months you can expect an amount of fiddling if you live in the sticks and use it as back up for internet and as a data SIM to enable your home phone to integrate over 3g / 4g.

Works great! (bad reviews are idiots that can't set it up probably or don't have unlocked phones)
I'm guessing all the 1 star reviews are people that couldn't figure out how to set the sim card up. You need Wi-Fi initially to access the instructions (unless you download them before hand from the EE website). Basically you'll need to go into network settings in your phone to tweak some things. It's really not difficult but the instructions aren't included in any packaging with the sim card. The initial text I got when I popped in the sim card lead me to the EE website and instructions (needed wifi at that point because I was at the Frankfurt Airport and just flew in from the US).Actual service I had in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland was amazing. Incredibly fast 4G speeds. My friends traveling with me (all from the US) used their own US carrier Intl plans and I was the lead member of the group for internet on the go because theirs was so slow. There are a few spots in the country or mountains I didn't get service but that was expected. Overall 30 bucks for 6GB on 4G speeds is an incredible deal. Well worth the money and I will purchase this sim card again for my next visit to Europe!

Worked perfectly in Germany and Switzerland!
Was on the fence about purchasing due to bad reviews but tried my luck and glad I did!Bought two 2GB SIM cards. I originally tried to activate the cards here in the US but the online service does not give the option to activate the purchased data. I was again slightly worried, but still took them on my trip.Upon arrival in Germany, going to the site, add-on.ee.co.uk, now provided the "Activate" option on the pre-loaded data. Success! I was able to use my phone with 4G connection in all of Germany and Switzerland. No issues whatsoever. My partner was also able to add data on the fly by purchasing an extra 2GB for about $8, excellent deal! Here is also a plus: In Switzerland the data usage completely stopped tracking. I'm not sure if this is a feature or if there is a bug in their data tracking through the Switzerland carrier (Swisscom), but I was able to have UNLIMITED data in Switzerland!Would definitely recommend these SIM cards for Europe travels. Much faster speeds (4G) compared to friends that had T-Mobile overseas service added to their plan.Phones: Unlocked Galaxy S9, Verizon Google Pixel XL 2Countries: Germany, Switzerland, Iceland
