Decent corrugated plastic for "do it yourself" projects
Corrugated Plastic is essentially glorified cardboard. However, corrugated plastic is made out of plastic, instead of the paper used to make normal cardboard. This results in a product that has several advantages vs normal sheets of cardboard. Specifiically corrugated plasic lasts longer than normal cardboard, is more resistent to normal damage than regular cardboard, and more resistent to water damage (i.e. the plastic doesn't get water logged). However, corrugated plastic is still almost as light as normal cardboard, and also almost as easy to cut to size. This makes corrugatated plastic a good choice for some "do it yourself" projects. In my case I needed a little material to make a small "shield" to protect some control buttons (on a power supply I owned) from the cats stepping on those buttons (thereby changing the power supply's settings). Since I didn't need a large shield (just one big enough to easily cover the power supply buttons), I figured corrugated plastic was a good choice (as it is VERY EASY to cut the proper size and shape). Since I couldn't find any old corrugated plastic around the house, I bought this set from Amazon. Yes, this set was sold for making yard signs (and it would likely work well for that purpose), but since these are still corrugated plastic sheets I could easily cut down one of these sheets to make my power supply button shield (which I then attached to the power supply with double-sided tape, with duct tape covering the top of my "shield").

Signs for the Times
These plastic pieces are perfect for protest signs. I had a friend staple lathe strips to them for handles. The surface is easy to letter on. They are sturdy and hold up in rainy weather. Recommended.

Perfect for protest signs
I used these to make protest signs. They are the perfect size, not too big to carry for a long time, but big enough to make my message readable from far away. I used painter sticks as the handle, then covered the handle with a piece of pool noodle for cushion. It was so affordable, I was able to make up a bunch and give the extras out at the protest.

Works great for protest signs!

Perfect for my needs.
I needed some light weight but stiff material to make fan shrouds for the attic vent fans I was installing. These were a perfect low cost solution. Easy to cut, non-biodegradable and rigid enough for the hardware I used.
