Quality, price, and everything nice!
Overall I am impressed with this card. I upgraded from a 3080ti FTW3 Ultra and almost everybody was saying it wasn't worth it to get it. But I can say for sure that with the newer upgraded A.I. technology, Nvidia reflex, GDDR7, DLSS 4, and the cooling solution being a conformed thermal pad it's for sure worth it. (I can also sell my 3080ti and damn near get my money back from that sale).I was playing the Oblivion remaster with frame gen on to assist with Unreal Engine 5's extreme demands on ultra settings, and the card barely broke 50c for the temps and was easily 100-130fps. Awesome card with a quality build. Note: The board is also covered in a conformal coating to protect against dust, liquid, or anything that could cause shorts. I'm very happy with this purchase.Quick note for people complaining about the frame gen causing input lag, don't even bother listening because you wouldn't even need to use it on FPS titles anyhow where it would matter. It's only reserved for mainly single player titles and the input lag is so minimal; a great example is "Indiana Jones and the Great circle," I never once thought about the input lag while playing with frame gen X2 on while having 140fps.Rig for reference:CPU 14900kRAM 64gb DDR5 6000mhz1000w PSUAcer predator 2tb M.2 NVMEMotherboard Rog Strix Z790GPU RTX 5070Awesome Graphics card!

Fast and quiet!
Went from amd rx7700xt to this and it’s night and day. Runs cities skylines 2 with pop 800k flawless. Cyberpunk with ray tracing and all settings ultra at 1440p is getting 220-230 fps. Did have to set the fan curves in tweak 3 to get temps down but after that all is good and even at 70 percent the fans are super silent. I do prefer amd software over nvidia but it’s an easy sacrifice for better hardware. Overall extremely pleased. Could whine about the price but that’s where the world is now and these prices won’t be coming down anytime soon. I may swap out the motherboard with an ASUS but it’s running excellent for now. Incredible performance
Coming from a Quadro 4000, what an upgrade!Games nowadays require a lot of graphical power that I just couldn't match anymore, and since I've become a more devoted PC gamer, I decided to start looking for a new GPU (after being taught what it was). I don't know much about this stuff even now, but what I can say is that the improvement feels night-and-day.I've seen many reviews on GPUs with regards to the new Monster Hunter game specifically, so I thought to include my benchmark after the switch (my previous score was 14000 on High graphics) - excellent (20000+) performance on Ultra graphics in a game of this caliber is something I'd have never imagined! The fans aren't loud (no louder than my 4000, anyway), sits pretty in my case without issue, and this little beast has overall improved my gaming experience to an extent that I wouldn't have been able to fathom until I saw it for myself. I can even see the pores in game characters' faces now (and I'd love the brand of face masks they're using to keep those pores looking so good)! Finally, I know there's contention about the prices of these, but at least for me, it was 100% worth it despite that and I'm glad that I took the leap on ordering it. Highly recommend.

Meet expectations
Jan 5 2025 update (about 1 week of use)The fan is quiet. I put the card intentionally under full load (99% utilization) running Topaz Photo AI Super Focus (beta), which lasted more than 26 minutes. I could not hear any fan noise; CPU load was low, so no CPU fan noise (AIO). I had to open the case, place my phone right under the card and record a long video in order to hear the faint noise. Power consumption was just over 200W; temperature never reached above 66C for the entire Super Focus operation.Original reviewThis GPU is a replacement for an RTX 4060, which is not bad at all. Since photography is my main hobby and I also like to do editing. The recent capability additions in Photoshop and Lightroom as well as Topaz Photo AI rely heavily on the GPU, resulting in a need for a better GPU. Obviously, 4090 or 4080 would be great, they are just outside my willingness to part with my money. While 4070 Super is not cheap, it does represent a reasonable compromise between performance and cost. BTW, I must point out that I have never spent more than $300 on a GPU prior to this; so, this is still a considerable investment. Besides getting this GPU, I also need to upgrade to an 850W PSU. So, this complete package is not a small investment.Long story short, it meets all my expectations.Installation was straightforward. Many people reported difficulties with installing the power cable, I had absolutely no problem at all. I made a stupid mistake though. I have 3 monitors and expected to see all 3 monitors showed up; only 1 monitor came up. Very disturbed, even panic at this point. Then I realized I had not yet installed the driver, which I already downloaded. Everything worked after the new driver was installed.I left the Dual Bios switch at the "P" performance position, and it was not noisy at all. My CPU fan makes a lot more noise. No idea if performance would be worse at the "Q" position. In terms of performance, which is the main reason for getting this GPU, it really shines. LrC denoise took almost 30 seconds to denoise a 50 MB raw file using 4060; this 4070 Super only took 14 seconds on the same file. Topaz Photo AI completed most tasks almost instantly. I must also point out that the standalone Topaz Sharpen AI was CPU limited, but I stopped using it in favor of Photo AI.I have not encountered a reason not to like it, except perhaps the cost. If cost is not a major consideration, I highly recommend it. I am sure 4090 and 4080 are even better, I do suspect they are reaching limiting return status.
