HC65 UHE

I’ve used headlamps for years as I am an avid walker and own dogs that require a lot of exercise. I have always gone for top-end high output lamps as I feel quality is important. I have been using the LED Lenser H14R.2 which is an excellent lamp but with some fundamental flaws mainly around the battery. A proprietary battery pack is used in these, which I have not been able to persuade to last for more than one year. I have had to return packs under warranty which has been honoured quickly but I felt that a much better option would have been for LED Lenser to provide for standard 18650 batteries to use that are readily available. The other issue with the Lenser is that it is heavy with the battery pack strapped to your head. Enter the Nitecore! This headlamp is light, extremely bright and uses an 18650 battery. The battery holder is integrated into the lamp so there is no cumbersome battery pack nor the associated weight. The lamp is solidly constructed and easy to use, some reviews speak of the sequence of operation being a bit tricky to get used to, but I didn’t find any difficulties in mastering the lamp’s functionality. It is so bright on the 3rd level setting that it is like walking in daylight even on the darkest nights, the beam is broad and I can do 5 solid days of 40 mins dog walks before needing to charge it again. This is a seriously good headlamp and I have no regrets in switching makes at all.

Great head torch, used daily for dog walks, as we live in non lighted area. Comfortable, light enough and really powerful, quick charge, really worth getting.

I remember back in the day of night orienteering (Harvester) the rig that I had to carry around with me, and having to sip at the power - often running by moon-light to save charge. Fast forward <cough>a few</cough> years, and we have this. Very comfortable to wear. Stellar battery life. The ability to be seen from space if on full blast. It's an absolutely staggering piece of kit.

Stopped working after one use and would not charge went to nitecore no response brought nitecore for years but this has definitely left a bad impression and I don’t think I will choose nitecore again

Great Torch and very bright on highest setting. The case it comes in didn’t last long as it’s too small and the zip burst after a few days.

Watched a few videos of this on YouTube. Not disappointed

Product is okay quality, bright LEDs. It does get very hot during usage which seems to effect the lens, after only 2 months of usage lens has gone really dull. I was expecting a lot better customer support on a premium product that costs nearly £100. You’re expected to cover all postage costs and wait weeks for a resolution I would avoid.

Une très belle frontale qui éclaire fort et large si besoin. Mais je l'ai surtout prise pour sa grande autonomie pour une luminosité raisonnable. Il y a besoin de la lanière fournie car avec seulement le bandeau, la lampe est "lourde " et à tendance à tomber à l'avant. Normal, le poids est concentré à l'avant avec la batterie. Les témoins lumineux pour le niveau de charge sont appréciés ainsi que la petite boîte de rangement très pratique. L'usinage est de belle qualité.

Tolle Lampe . Ist nicht ganz günstig ist aber ihr Geld wert. Sehr hell besonders in den untersten Leuchtstufen und lange Laufzeiten. Top! Meine neue Lieblingslampe.

Awesome headlamp. Very bright and also comes with removable top strap which is a nice option.
