11 Inch Wall Mount Articulating Magic Arm+Cell Phone Bracket Holder for iPhone X,iPhone 8,iPhone 8 Plus

I've been wanting a wireless surveillance camera for sometime. I bought a highly recommended camera from amazon.com and gave up after an hour trying to set it up.After doing some deep searching, I concluded that the best wireless surveillance camera solution is one that that uses the iOS/Android app Alfred combined with an old smart phone as the camera. Alfred is dirt simple to set up. However that left we with the challenge of mounting the smart phone as a camera to the cei;ing. That is where the magic arm came in.It comes with no instructions and thus lots of parts I could see no use for. Regardless, it required just 5 minutes to set up, and it grabbed an iPhone5 just fine.So now I have a surveillance solution that has a high quality camera, two way communication, dirt simple setup all just for the cost of the Magic Arm, which was under $20 at the time I ordered. The piece of mind this product has enabled is great.

I like my wall mount very much. Very convenient, not bulky or an eyesore. I have mine mounted in my bathroom wall

I rate this a 3 star because it doesn't tighten very well, the thing swivels too easily. This is my only issue as I am a huge gamer and I have like 4 devices I mount to play multiple games at once.

This is a great idea, but in practice it is very hard to adjust and keep from dropping. Also all the arms move with one adjuster knob. This makes it hard to get in right position. DO NOT BUY if you have an iPhone 8plus. The holder does not fit.

Product broke within the first week of use, at first I thought I could still use it but then I couldn’t mount anything as the internal plastic pieces broke and it would just free spin

A key piece is made of crappy plastic instead of metal and doesn’t hold up to repeated use. It’s the piece that is against the wall so bears the most weight. It’s failed leading to overall lack of use of this product. Poor design
