175 dollars?
THIS IS A STEAL!! The Yeti Studio is an "SM7b" esque microphone with its look and with how it's been EQ'd out of the box. This microphone is definitely deeper or "muddier" tone than the SM7b but that can work on some voices but better yet since this is about 90% of the way of a SM7b, it can definitely be EQ'd well. It's built well and is quite heavy giving it a "quality" feeling. Not only that, because of the preamp in this microphone, you can use this with a cheap audio interface (Using it on a Behringer UMC22 and you can get very little preamp noise from your interface due to the preamp in the mic).If you can find it at around 200 dollars or less, it's a steal. 250 dollars, depends on what you're looking for in a microphone. 350 dollars? I recommend not getting it, at that price point you can find better microphones or you're most likely going to get an SM7b.

THIS IS NOT THE BLUE SONA, THE BLUE SONA IS DISCONTINUED. THIS IS BETTER!
This microphone is not the same as the blue sona, this microphone is an improvement from the latter! the specs show a better Total Harmonic Distortion (THD), Noise To Signal Ratio, and an improved sensitivity depth, and all that is true! The Blue Sona was already an industry improvement and a no-brainer to switch from the Shure SM7b; since it included a preamp inside the microphone to provide the extra gain that the Shure SM7b needed a cloudlifter or the new $499 version with a preamp included in its microphone to sustain that industry sound, but Logitech also included not just the preamp but also the same presence and bass boosters you can find with Shure for almost $150 cheaper! It also uses technology to improve the cardioid pattern of the SM7b to make your ambience even more noise-reduced, by upgrading to a super cardioid pattern. And still, this new mic from Logitech also outdoes its predecessor, The Blue Sona, as the new tones of the G Yeti Studio sounds like it creates a better richness to darker voices, and now makes the SM7b and the blue Sona sound boxy, and less warm and front than this version!I am in Love and urge you to try it too. Musicians, Singers, and Podcast creators won't be turning back to Shure once you get your hands on this. It may be Logitech merged with Blue, but it truly holds to the blue-certified sound of Great SOUNDING products, and good quality builds.

I bought it to replace my at2020... i returned it
Ive been using my at2020 for about two years. Sounds fine still but i wanted to upgrade my sound quality and noise rejection. The Blue sona sounded at best slightly more full. But at the end of the day the AT2020 is only 100 dollars and sounds about the same over all...The price is not right here honestly...Im returning itUPDATE: I just got an shure MV7x and it had everything I needed in terms of sound/noise rejection and has a nice smooth warm tone. I was finally about to replace my trusty at2020 (still a great choice)
