Too wide and covers part of the camera settings

Based on what I saw I purchased this for my Canon 1dx MKII. I thought from what I saw it would be like in photo (01) but was instead what you see in photo (02). I thought based on photo (01) the protector would go on and then the original eye piece would go back in place.. After fiddling with the protector and new eye piece (which wasn't easy) I noticed as in photo (03) there is a gap approx 1/16th", and photo (04) shows the the protector depressed, and lastly photo (05) shows the original eye piece that no longer will fit. If I'm doing something wrong I would sure like someone to show me differently but like I said it wasn't what I expected. It will protect the LCD but I can see having to have to take it apart from time to time to clean the dust because of the gap which you wouldn't think you would have to do being the whole purpose is to protect.

Works well. First screen protector I ordered arrived completely crushed. So had to get another one. One tip....when you get furious at a product that arrives broken, don’t throw it away in a fit of rage...makes it hard to return!!

Perfectly fit my Nikon D4s. It doesn’t comes with instructions but no problem, you just press the bottom part and it click and your done.
