This is a great cooling pad!It arrived really nicely packaged in a well designed box. Simple, but effective logo on the front and information on the reverse side. I was happily surprised when I opened the box, the pad itself is very nicely designed. I'm a big fan of the red colouring of the fans, and also the led lights. They work well against the black, giving a real gamer feel. The included usb cable is a good length and can reach my laptop well.The pad has for switches. Two at the base, to adjust the angle, and two at the bottom of the front, to prevent the laptop from sliding when raised up. The angle is really great, it makes viewing a lot easier. Because of the close proximity of the bottom switches, you can use a smaller laptop than 15.6 inches so this can be used for lots of different ones!I really like the dual aspect of the four fans. There is a switch for changing fan speed for the top two, and another for the bottom two. This really helps especially if your laptop is overheating in one particular area.The whole product and design seems very high quality. It looks stylish and works really well. Definitely would recommend!

This cooling pad came packaged in a well designed box with logo on the front and some instructions on the back. The cooling pad itself is very nicely designed, it roughly measures 15.5 ins x 10.5 ins it fits perfectly on my laptop table. The pad has 2 switches which operates 4 fans that are red in colour 2 at the top and 2 on the bottom there are 2 usb ports as well.There are 2 feet at the back with rubber pads on the bottom to stop it slipping on the glass top of my table and to keep it at an angle, there are 2 situated on the top to stop the laptop from slipping off.The quality of the pad is great nice and light and made of strong plastic with a metal mesh cover over the fans, the fans are very quiet I usually only use 2 fans and my glass table is cool where it used to be very hot as my laptop is constantly on for hours at a time. I should have invested in one of these before as my old laptop kept overheating and i ended up buying a new laptop. GREAT GADGET.This is a non biased review of this item

I purchased this cooling pad as I do a lot of work on my laptop in the evenings and that usually consists of me sitting in the lounge with my laptop on my knee. I had a lot of problems with my previous laptop as it would randomly turn itself off and then would not turn back on for a while. After checking the laptop over for common faults, I realised that this problem was occurring due to the laptop overheating because the vents are covered underneath.The cooling pad arrived well packaged, the day after purchasing as promised. It is nicely presented in retail quality packaging making it ideal as a gift.The build quality of this cooling pad is great. It is made up of mainly strong quality plastic with a mesh metal over the fans which your laptop sits on top. This allows the maximum circulation of air to your laptop vents. The mesh is strong and supports my laptop very well. There are 2 feet at the back end of the cooling pad to enable users to put it on a slight incline to match your individual needs, these feet have rubber grips holding the pad steady on any surface. When the pad is on an incline the laptop slips down so there is a flip up plastic lever at each side of the bottom of the pad to prevent this from happening.The fans are audible but only very slightly, just enough for you to know that they are on. Each fan has a Red LED which gives the cooling pad more of a techy/gaming feel. The fans are controlled using the roller disc at the top of the cooling pad and this can be used to adjust the speed of the fans also. There are two roller discs one that controls the bottom two fans and one that controls the top two fans, therefore you can choose to either have two fans on or all four.As a bonus there are two USB ports on the top of the cooling pad one to connect the cooling pad to your laptop and a spare. This is a great addition because the cooling pad requires one of the USB ports on the laptop to power it, therefore the spare one on the cooling pad accommodates the loss of the use of that USB port when in use.The cooling pad is a nice size and can fit a laptop/notebook/netbook up to 17 inches but is compact enough and folds down to fit in my laptop bag when not in use. Therefore, it is also perfect when travelling because the only power needed is from your laptop.The cooling pad comes with a 3 ft nylon braided USB cable which is fully independent from the pad which is a bonus as usually when devices like this acquire faults it is to do with the cable. Therefore, if the cable was to become faulty over time, you could replace the cable and the cooling pad would still be usable. The cooling pad also has a section for the cable underneath keeping it tidy and safe when not in use.Overall, I am extremely pleased with the build quality, design and usability of this cooling pad.
