Easy to use and is virtually foolproof. The reel unwinds cleanly and smoothly with no snags. Use it for my extra fishing pole as it is legal to have two poles in the water at once in Utah. Good product.

While not a beginner, I use this when I go hiking/camping. this rod is sensitive. I have caught plenty of trout with this combo. I would recommend this combo for any beginner or as a travel combo.

I bought this about a month ago. Set it up with some 10lb braided. The rod worked fine at the beginning but eventually bent as the picture shows. The reel worked just fine.When processing for replacement, I wanted to only get a replacement rod. But they can't process it that way.Now I have to take them apart and remove the fish line from the reel for a separate return. Not fun...

One of the best combos I've ever owned. I have the 6ft 30 and it has handled everything I've caught flawlessly. I have 10lb line on it and it has by far exceeded expectations. I plan on getting the bigger one and hit bigger water. Ive caught 15lb cats and 6lb bass with no problem. Im in love.

I purchased the 6’6 4-piece medium heavy rod and reel. I travel for work all over the US and internationally. I was looking for something that broke down small enough to fit in my suitcase or attached to my backpack as a carry on. This rod breaks down into 4 - 21” pieces and comes with a bag to carry the rod and reel. I caught some decent largemouth bass with it first trip out and so far has been great. I have this same rod in a 1 piece the feel pretty similar. Definitely recommend this rod if you do travel or are looking for something that does break down.

Lost the rod tip section of the 6'6" medium 4pc fishing rod the very first time I used the damn thing!I prefer packable rods for storage purposes and have owned many throughout the years and I have NEVER had a single issue before. I was excited to try out an Ugly Stik packable rod since I have always been a fan of this brand. Unfortunately, I did not even get a chance to enjoy the rod because it came apart during the first dozen or so casts on my first fishing trip with it. The tip piece disconnected from the rest of the rod and went flying twenty feet or more into the river and got lodged underneath rocks in a swift-moving current. Like hell was I going to risk drowning to get it back! So pissed and annoyed that this product did not live up to my expectations and immediately upon returning home, I initiated a refund and starting writing this review. Definitely not giving the reel back since it is spooled with quality line I don't want to lose LOL SMHLong story short, the 4pc Ugly Stik rods do not hold up and aren't worth buying.Don't say I didn't warn ya!

un combo muy recomendado ya que es para personas que se inician pero, pero por su versatilidad también la puede usar una persona mas experimentada en la pesca. de lo mejor para pesca ligera, pero sirve para sacar de todo.
