It’s inspiring and sad and illuminating too. I do hope that we see this wonderful book published in hardback at some point, it would be a lovely gift to give.

What a story..my kid loved it..very interesting

A brilliant historical fiction encompassing magic, the history of Britain, specifically London, and the culture of India at that time. I was initially drawn to the book because of the wonderful work of the illustrator Sandhya Prabhat, but the book as a whole is something that will stay with me. It’s inspiring and sad and illuminating too. I do hope that we see this wonderful book published in hardback at some point, it would be a lovely gift to give.

What a truly wonderful read - whilst it may technically be aimed at the younger audience I think anyone who enjoys suspending their belief will love this book whatever their age. The characters are so well written that you are rooting for them from the start - I hope this is the first of many books for this author as I would love to know what other adventures are in store.
