Thanks for reaching out! Yes, Ultra Shine is not a thick liquid, otherwise it would gunk up the scratch pads. You can give it a couple easy shakes to mix it up but that's how it's supposed to be. Please watch our videos online so you can see how to apply it to the scratch pads in our Scratch-B-Gone kits before you start. Thank you,
