These are good cameras for the most part, when they actually work, work properly and work when you are actually trying to live view. Most of the time the blink 4 model is the irritation. The model 3, at least 1 of them, always seems to do the job. The mini 2 seems to be best, I just don't like the big box piece on the power cord for out doors; but it works and it is quiet when you live view vs. The other models- you hear this loud like ch ch ch ch sound.

I have a couple gen 3 and 4 outdoor blink cameras. I'll just say that if you have gen 3 I'd look for something else, the fit is so incredibly tight it feels you'll either break the housing or the camera before getting it to seat correctly.Enough that it will wear on the outside of your gen 3 camera housing (see picture) - unless I got a missized product somehow? The current description does note BOTH gen 3/4That being said, the housing is fairly robust, adds a nice amount of protection on the gen 4. Its definitely a superior solution in comparison to the standard mounts. When on my gen 4 it does exactly what I likeI also like that it comes with the module mount, its so much cleaner.

I've been trying to push the old rubber housings from my 3rd generation Outdoor cameras onto my newest 4th gen Outdoor cameras, but apparently the newest cameras are longer front to back. So, I picked these up. I unlatched the back at the bottom, dropped my camera in, snapped the backing back on ....and done! It has the old round hole mount on the back of it as well as a new screw in mount hole for the new mount that comes with it. I snapped it onto the old existing mount, instead of using the new screw in mount to save time and it worked perfectly.It came with 2 or 3 more housings and a control module mount, also.Seems like a well-made case and does what it was designed to do so I would recommend this product.Hope this helps you!

These fit about as well as one could ask. They even come with mounting screws, which makes deploying your cameras a snap.The hoods are shorter than I’d like, and don’t provide as much protection from sun or rain as they could if you’re mounting your cameras out in the open. Otherwise, they’re fine, but of course if you’re mounting under eaves, you don’t really need these.
