There is a reason these fly off the shelves every spring. If you've ever tried generic, store-brand chocolate eggs, the difference here is night and day. The standout feature is the candy shell. It's noticeably thicker than other candies and has a matte, slightly dusty finish that gives a deeply satisfying, audible crunch. The milk chocolate inside is dense and creamy without the waxy, artificial aftertaste you sometimes get with cheaper holiday candy. A quick tip: If you let them sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before eating, the chocolate center softens up just a bit, making the texture contrast with the crisp shell even better. The Bottom Line: Five stars. They live up to the hype and remain the gold standard for this style of candy.

Normally I wouldn’t make a point to leave a negative review, but this bag was disappointing. Almost every mini egg in the package was missing most of its candy shell. The coating was cracked, flaking, and separated from the chocolate throughout the entire bag. Instead of intact candy-coated eggs, it felt like a bag of broken pieces. I didn’t open it immediately after purchase, so I wasn’t able to address it through other options. By the time I discovered the condition, it was too late to do anything about it — which made it even more frustrating. I understand minor breakage can happen, but this level of shell damage across the entire bag suggests a quality control issue somewhere in the process. I’ve enjoyed these in the past, but this particular bag did not meet expectations.

When it comes to chocolate, I can usually take it or leave it. However, when it comes to Cadbury's milk chocolate mini eggs, I can't stop eating the whole bag in a short time. I long the thin, matte finish hard shell on the outside of these, and the most excellent Cadbury chocolate on the inside. The ratio of hard crunch shell to chocolate is perfect.

These little chocolate eggs are just the right size to fit perfectly in one's mouth! They are we SO delicious! I ate SIX of them one after another and was ready to eat two more immediately, but I stopped myself! I highly recommend them! I sneaked this candy into my house because I am not supposed to have sugar.

Many have broken shells, but I knew this was possible. They taste very good, though. My favorite Easter candy.

They need to bring this to US stores as a regular product. Every time I go to Canada I get a ton of these and the mini mini eggs from gas stations or Loblaws. Expensive for what they are on Amazon, but the crunch is not replicated by any candy I've had in the US.

these tasted so good although when received i felt the bag almost all the eggs shell were off (im not complaining though) more chocolate for me!! i love these chocolates so much so good
