Simple!
It’s now been a year with this laptop and I absolutely love it. I got it for college, I was looking for something inexpensive and just enough to research, essays, homework pretty basic stuff. It’s nice and simple and works for just exactly what I need it for. I’ve had 0 issues with it, however I also don’t load it up with a ton of personal stuff like pictures or videos as I have a PC for that, so it doesn’t run slow or lag at all. If you’re looking for something straightforward with easy tasks, this is your best bet. Also picked out by my tech nerd sibling.

Good Purchase
Even it's like new but bargain price for the laptop specs, this easily can cost $2500 for Mac with same specs. I can finally use this for my education in cybersecurity. Good purchase.

Good performance, questionable build quality.
The hinges and bezels near them creaked slightly when I lifted the lid. The right side of the touchpad was wobbly and would sink a bit if I rested my finger on it without actually pressing. There were also HDR issues, such as flickering. The keyboard felt nice, but the advertised wallpaper and keyboard RGB sync option was missing in the latest Windows 11 Pro version. I encountered problems with the USB A ports when trying to connect my Samsung T7 SSD. On the positive side, the colors on the OLED screen looked amazing, and typing felt smooth. Overall performance was great, though it’s not a gaming machine. It’s ideal for work, media consumption, and similar tasks. Batter was also okay, but nothing mindblowing. Just be mindful of brightness levels and avoid leaving static images on the screen for extended periods in order to avoid OLED burn in.P.S. I had to pay $205 USD to return it to Amazon and even though they promised to refund the return shipping costs to me in full due to it being a faulty device, they refunded less than promised, and that was after at least 15 conversations with different agents and hours spent explaining the issue over and over again. The last agent said he'd allow a refund of $150 USD as a sign of Amazon's good will, as if they hadn't promised to give me all of my money back.

The laptop is zippy and works well. Not much bloatware, and most of it can easily be removed
Perfect. Fast.

Amazing laptop!
I got this for work, it’s extremely fast to boot up, I love the copy paste feature and navigation has been great with the new windows. I would recommend for work/school. However, I did have to immediately take it out of home mode as it was too limiting.

issues with built-in webcam cover
The media could not be loaded. Update 09/14/2025: I’ve noticed a problem with the built-in webcam cover. The sliding shutter does not function properly. Even when I move the slider to the open position, the camera lens remains covered — the orange indicator stays visible and the webcam cannot be used. It seems the cover is misaligned or defective (see pics and video)Original review: I bought a NEW (as I thought based on listing) laptop 08/01/2025. I registered my laptop with ASUS and system (MyASUS) showed a warranty expiration date as 09/14/2025. I sent an Amazon invoice to ASUS to fix the warranty expiration date (12 month after purchase date). Here is a response from ASUS: "Please be advised that we can't offer standard warranty for your unit as it was purchased as used. We offer 90 days warranty as a courtesy. The warranty end date is 10/30/2025." Amazon listing (official ASUS store) did NOT mention that the unit was USED only invoice has note: Condition USED - very good.

WELL. . . .
Do not expect to be able to read the keys in low light as the backlit keyboard works just fine as long as one has a flashlight to shine on it. Other than that, it is working fine, screen colors are good if not better than that, it was packaged well and it seems to be working well.

Fantastic laptop
I’m not a nerd so I can’t give a full in depth review but I love this laptop. I love the size and the 10-key calculator (or whatever it’s called) that comes with it. I LOVE IT AND I WATCH MOVIES ON IT WITH NO ISSUE.
