My 115 lb St Bernard girl's first heat cycle. Tried the adult human disposables with a tail hole cut out & suspenders, but, what a hassle to keep 'em on! Delighted to find Philodogs in a size that would actually fit a giant breed with room to grow. (She will probably have another heat cycle before she is old enough to spay) Loved everything about them with the exception of that blasted tail hole! Are you listening Philodogs? Constricting, potentially damaging doesn't begin to describe it!!! I took my seam ripper and in three places around the circumference I unpicked the stitches, cut the elastic and stitched the seam back up again. The elastic still fits closely enough around the tail to prevent any leakage but not so tight as to cause discomfort or damage. Now they are perfect! I have had no problem getting them clean with cold water, an application of "Zout" stain remover and washing in regular detergent. All in all a satisfactory purchase. And, she just looks so darn cute in them!

Highly absorbent. Cleanin-just throw them into the washing machine. Fit is great except that I am using these for a very large mastiff type male dog and there is NO WAY his penis fits inside the diaper....hence the 4 stars for comfort as it rubs on his sheath. YES, I know there are diapers specifically for male dogs, but they do not cover the rear end. This is not being used for pooping or pee. although I did forget to remove them once (and only once)when I let him out to do his thing and they certainly held the dump left in them! My boy has cancerous growth around his anus that erupts and bleeds like a stuck pig. These diapers have allowed me to keep what's left of my sanity with cleaning blood from the floor, walls, dog beds, you get the picture. Just wish there was a larger, longer style.

I bought these for our cat, Bad Kitty. He gets absolutely terrified when it thunders and/or heavy rain. So much so that he’ll pee himself. So many times he has peed all over himself and my bed or the couch. Although he can’t help it, it’s been so frustrating. I figured we’d give these a try and they’re perfect!! There are times I have to get up in the middle of the night to put them on him, but it’s worth it because it saves my bed from becoming a litter box. They seem to absorb quite well and I’ve had no trouble cleaning them. I do recommend prewashing them in the sink before putting in the washer. I wash them with other things and by prewashing it makes sure that your other items in washer won’t smell like urine. He still doesn’t like the process of putting them on, but not many cats would. As far as wearing them, he’s gotten used to them enough that he will actually walk around in them if the rain has calmed down. I’m sure I’ll be buying more in the future!!!

I am on my third set of medium diapers for my 22 lb., 15-year-old beagle. At first, I was buying disposable diapers to put on under these because I did not trust that they would work, but with some practice on where they should be placed on my beagle's private area (make sure the male genitalia is cupped under the waistband of the diaper) I no longer buy the disposable ones. The size is good; they may look too big or baggie, but that just gives your dog room to "do his business." If they are too tight around the butt area, the poop will slip out the tail-hole, so they have to sag a bit in the back. My dog literally gets up, does his thing, and turns around and goes back to sleep without any discomfort. I have come home after a long day at work to absolutely no messes, and I take the diaper off and it is all in there! It has made my life so much easier. Please feel free to send me any questions. It was trial and error for a couple of weeks, but then I trusted the product and figured out how to put it on properly, and it worked like a charm!

I bought this for my foster kitty Zeus who had been in a car accident at 3 mos. old and became incontinent. Of course, he hated wearing diapers so I can't rate on "comfort" but he looked so cute in these designs, my favorite being the "spidey pants". The only problem I have with these diapers, and other pet diapers, is that they're proportionally sized more for dogs than cats. While the fit around his middle was good, the leg holes gaped, which allowed urine to escape depending on how he was sitting or laying at the time. If I adjusted the fit to be more tight around his legs, then I couldn't fit it around his middle well enough.

2nd Purchase of this product. The ones carried by petco went in the trash. I have a 60 pound catahoula going through 3rd cycle and the size Large fits great. Still using my original ones along with the new ones. This prduct is a 5 compared to a 2 for petco. Probably 30 washes of this product and these still look good and no issues with the velcro. The petco products looks like they have been used for months by the wear they showed after minimal washings. She figured out how to walk against/under chairs, people, to rub the petco version off. These she has not been able to do that. She was turned into the yard for exercise, but relieved herself in the Philodog with no leakage. (There is a male dog in yard and she is too young). Product has worked as protection from unwanted breeding as well. I will purchase philodog product again if needed in 6 months. She is 60 pounds and I am using the large based on the size chart. Again, chart on petco product based on weight only, she needed the xl, but they are too big. Chart for philodog was great.

Our puppy survived a typically fatal neurological disease. It left her with some incontinence issues. As we did not expect her to live for long, we spoiled her in every way possible! Including cuddling her 24/7 so she wouldn’t have to die alone. By the time it was clear the danger had passed and she would live we continued to keep her close, and that’s when we discovered her dribbling issue. In order to continue keeping her close we purchased these diapers and they are ADORABLE! They handle her slight dribbles great for over night and twice when we accidentally left a door open and she went outside and fully peed in them, they managed to contain it all. They aren’t plastic however so if they are very wet for long they will soak through. One of the diapers has had some of the stitching along the Velcro unravel so I minused a star for that.

I’m so impressed- excellent quality and actually fit for my huge puppy (she just turned 12 months and started her first heat)I ordered XXL - she is 1/2 Great Dane, 1/2 Old English Mastiff. She is still growing - probably about 160lbs right now.She doesn’t seem to be bothered wearing them either because they don’t pull or hangs. I imagine if she had a thicker tail the tail hole may seem small. Very thick padding inside- not so easy to clean because so much but that would be a factor regardless.They actually arrived early and the post office misplaced them- but got it sorted out.I recommend this brand and company- I purchase a lot on amazon, but don’t do reviews unless I’m very impressed or very unimpressed !!! I’m impressed!!!

This product is great for my female weimanier. The only problem is the tail hole is too small. Luckily she has a cropped tail so we leave it inside. This would not work well if she had a long tail. You would have to cut it bigger.

The XL size fit great and was just what I need for my dog since his stroke and had now no use of his back end but I have gobe to buy more and they have gone up in price! There now £16 more then the XXL witch im very confused about. Since all the others thr smaller they are the cheaper but also now I can't afford to keep buying them. So realy upset as they are perfect for what I need.

I needed some dog nappies for my 14 year old collie cross female dog, she has a lump on her back leg which presses on her bladder hence the wet patches on the floor. These dog nappies are the best I could find that were washable, they are well padded and wash well, they do come small so go a size bigger, they also shrink slightly when first washed but they were too big when I bought them so now they are the right size.
