After a regrettable detour with some flimsy, cheap alcohol pads from another site, I wasted no time coming back to Amazon for the quality I rely on. I chose this particular brand, and boy, am I glad I did! These are truly a step above the rest. These pads are extra thick and incredibly durable, easily holding up to thorough scrubbing without tearing. I use them daily to prep the skin on my shoulder for vitamin patches (also an Amazon find!) and to give my cell phone and tablet a good clean. Given how frequently I use them, I go through them fairly quickly, but their quality makes it worth every penny. A huge plus, especially for someone with arthritis in her hands, is how easily the packets tear open. No more struggling with stubborn wrappers! They're also the perfect size for all my needs – just like Goldilocks, these are "just right." In today's economy, where prices seem to climb daily, finding such excellent value for money on a product that's an absolute essential for me is incredibly refreshing. EXCELLENT ALCOHOL SWABS.. I am diabetic and use these swabs several times daily to sanitize the insulin injection location before and after each injection. I purchased a case of 1200 BD Alcohol Swabs Becton Dickinson 326895 Alcohol Swabs, Soft, Non-Sterile (Case of 1200) in August 2015 and have used most of them to date. I'll be ordering another case soon. These swabs are much thicker and more tightly woven than most other swabs that I have previously tried. They retain the alcohol very well and don't shed small particles of cloth or debris as they are used. Each swab measures 1" x 1 3/8" and comes tightly sealed in a multilayered foil wrapper that prevents drying out even when stored in temps over 100ºF, like in first aid kits kept in vehicles, boats, or campers. I have yet to find a dried-out swab in any packet that I've opened.. The quality control in producing this product appears to be outstanding.. For those of you who are shooters, these swabs are about as thick and tightly-woven as most high-quality barrel swab patches used to clean firearms.. In fact, the patches that I use for swabbing injection site areas, if they remain clean and not soiled or discolored after use, are thrown into a large open jar, which allows all the alcohol to evaporate out. I then use those dried cloth swabs later for cleaning or swabbing barrels or cleaning hard-to-get locations on firearms or other mechanical equipment, like fishing reels, tools, or the inner workings of old wall clocks. The dried swabs readily absorb and hold gun oil and light lubricating oil, bore cleaners, bore polishes, etc. The swabs, wet or dry, don't leave tiny pieces of lint behind like many gauze-type swabs. After they serve their original purpose, these swabs are great to work with in secondary applications and use for hundreds of things around the home or in a workshop. I highly recommend these BD Alcohol Swabs for anyone needing this type of a product.. They work great for me, and by their high ratings they apparently work great for most other folks too… They are certainly worth a try..

I started insulin last Oct., my local pharmacy filled the script and was giving this brand. Using Amazon is so much cheaper for alcohol pads and pen needles. I have tried two other brands, they were ok, they did the job but they were so thin. I had to use more than one because they were kind of dried out. Yes, the prices have gone up since the corona virus, but these are so worth it, and cheaper than our local pharmacy. Firstly, the order came a few days earlier, which was great, I was sweating it out! I don't want to get an infection and being diabetic, it takes longer to get over! Secondly, the pads are very soft and thick compared to the other brands I have tried in the past. Plenty of alcohol, the pads are moist and not dried out. The actual package the pads are in, easy to open and is foil, so you don't rip two Packs at the same time. The last brand I used, the package were so thin and would open two at a time. I would end up using a couple anyway because there wasn't much alcohol in the pads. I have to inject insulin 5 or 6 times a day, so I wasn't saving much money because I had to use more. I was so pleased to find this brand at Amazon, BD Alcohol Swabs is my preferred brand! So, if you're not happy with those other brands I highly recommend these, the seller was great! Came earlier than expected and all the boxes were in great shape, came through the USPS, very happy with seller and product! Definitely will buy again!

Mom's diabetic and these work awesome as always. Love how moist they are and the fact that they don't dry up when kept in medicine drawer for years.
