I volunteer doing train maintenance work year-round, and my titanium water bottle is not quite working out. I have a straw cap on it, which I'm quite accustomed to. One one occasion last summer something snagged the flip up straw and ripped it right off the cap and I lost it and some water before I discovered the situation. This winter, on two different occasions, something again has snagged the flip up straw and drained nearly all the water before being discovered. So, before the hot weather rolls around again and the water supply is critical, I'm looking for a water bottle that isn't going to be loosing my vital water supply. I haven't figured out whether brush and branches have been the cause prior, or just snagging on my pack straps. But the solution appears to be a different lid style that what I've been using.So, I've had this water bottle out on the trail twice now. I'm still getting used to not having a straw, like I've had before, but I'm slowly getting used to it. I've removed the strap, so it isn't getting snagged on brush and branches, but that is unlikely to be an issue for most users. It is more slender and taller that my one liter titanium bottle, which makes it a bit more likely to slip out of my pack's pocket, but so far has not an issue. Being clear, I can see exactly how much water remains, instead of just guessing by shaking it. The lid so far is sealing well, even when not upright and with the spout covered when stored the spout is staying clean for drinking. It did take a bit to figure out the lid latch: Unlock and press the bottom of the button to release. Maybe I just needed to be wearing my glasses at that point.It'll take a bit of time to adjust to this style bottle, but so far it is working out and I'm pleased with it. And it doesn't dent on the rocks, like my titanium bottle. So, off to more trails...and I hope to have water to drink.

Die samtig glatte Oberfläche fühlt sich nicht nur angenehm an, sondern verhindert auch effektiv ein Abrutschen aus der Hand.Das Material Tritan ist eine gute Wahl. Es ist nicht nur bruchsicher, sondern auch BPA-frei, geschmacks- und geruchsneutral. Das gibt mir die Sicherheit, immer frisches und unverfälschtes Wasser zu trinken. Persönlich bevorzuge ich Trinköffnungen gegenüber Strohhalmen, da sie leichter zu reinigen sind. Hier punktet die VINSUN Trinkflasche definitiv. Die Trinköffnung ist praktisch gestaltet und ermöglicht eine unkomplizierte Reinigung.Alles in allem bin ich rundum zufrieden mit meiner VINSUN Trinkflasche. Sie erfüllt nicht nur alle meine Anforderungen an eine ideale Trinkflasche, sondern sieht dabei auch noch stylisch aus. Eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die auf der Suche nach einer hochwertigen, auslaufsicheren und leicht zu handhabenden Trinkflasche sind.

On the plus side, the bottle looks quite cool and holds a lot. It's a lightweight, rigid, semi-transparent plastic that lets you see how much fluid remains. It would be a good water bottle for hiking, where you want minimal weight but high capacity.You should know that this bottle is almost a foot tall with a diameter of about 3 inches. The dimensions and capacity would make it an ideal water carafe/pitcher for storing cool water in your fridge door and bringing to the table for dinner, but don't do that because the instructions say it's not safe to use for "long-term" storage. The height could make it challenging to fill this bottle from a dispenser (if you have a fancy fridge with water in the door) or to clean it. Also, it's not dishwasher safe.The combination button is small and seems a bit delicate. I haven't seen a mechanism like this before, so at first I wasn't sure how to make it work. You slide the button down to lock the lid, or you slide the button up and press on the half of the button to spring open the lid. The mechanism doesn't require much force at all and it's small, so it seems like the bottle could unlock/open by accidentally bumping into something. I'd definitely be careful to store this upright and not just toss it a bag expecting it to stay closed by magic. The wrist strap seems well-made, but I don't think anyone asked for it. I can't imagine attaching this large bottle to your wrist. No harm, though, and you could always cut it off if you don't need it.

Die Trinkflasche von Vinsun wird in einem schlicht designten Karton verpackt geliefert und eignet sich dementsprechend ideal als Geschenk.Positiv:Was mir an dieser Flasche direkt auf den ersten Blick besonders gut gefallen hat, ist das Design. Sie ist sehr schlicht und dennoch unterscheidet sie sich aufgrund der Form von vielen anderen Flaschen. Auch die ruhigen Farben und die matte Oberfläche finde ich sehr ansprechend. Da sie nicht so breit ist, lässt sie sich trotz der großen Füllmenge in einem Rucksack unterbringen und eignet sich somit gut für unterwegs.Die Schlaufe ermöglicht einen einfachen Transport und das einhändige Öffnen durchs Betätigen eines Knopfs ist auch sehr praktisch und lässt sich bei Bedarf auch sperren. Der Verschluss ist komplett isoliert und wasserdicht und das Mundstück ist weder zu klein noch zu groß.Negativ:Mein größter Kritikpunkt ist leider der Deckel: Das Scharnier wirkt sehr wackelig und als könnte es nach häufiger Verwendung oder erhöhter Belastung sehr leicht kaputtgehen. Gerade, da durch das einhändige Öffnen der Deckel mit einer hohen Geschwindigkeit nach hinten katapultiert wird, befürchte ich, dass der Deckel eher nicht sehr langlebig ist. Ich persönlich werde auf jeden Fall immer beim Öffnen festhalten, damit das Scharnier nicht zu sehr belastet wird. Ob es sich dabei aber vielleicht auch nur um einen Einzelfall bei meiner Flasche handelt, kann ich natürlich nicht sagen.Des Weiteren empfinde ich den Preis von zurzeit ca. 24€ für eine reguläre Trinkflasche aus Plastik sehr hoch, vor allem wenn man bedenkt, dass man qualitativ vergleichbare Produkte schon für die Hälfte des Preises erhält.Insgesamt habe ich also eine etwas gemischt Meinung über die Flasche, da ich sie zum einen wirklich sehr hübsch und praktisch finde, sie auf der anderen Seite für den hohen Preis etwas zu instabil ist.
