It’s worth the money. The umbrella is very sturdy, has automatic open and close, and fabric is a little thick. It’s cheap but the quality is very good.

I was looking for a good quality compact umbrella that would neatly stay in my work backpack. It is a good size and doesn't take too much room in the back-pack. It opens and closes automatically and is sturdy.

I agree with other reviews that it is noticeably heavier than the average, foldable umbrella, but it is quite robust. I wouldn't call it very compact either. The shoe in the photo is US Mens size 11.5, for reference. Diameter of open umbrella dome, is roughly 100cm across. So it provides ample coverage for one, and tight coverage for two, as long as they aren't big people. The yellow coloured version, is exactly like it looks in the photos. I've only used it twice but the auto-open and auto-close mechanism is smooth, and functions as expected. It feels durable enough to handle reasonably strong gusts of wind. To open, just follow the instructions; When opening, undo the clasp, hold out, away from people or objects, and press the button. When closing, hold out, away from people, and press the button. When it folds shut, roll it up, redo the clasp, then put a hand on the top, and a hand on the bottom of the handle and push both hands inwards, firmly, but gently, until you hear a click.
