I've been using this bag system almost daily for over three years now. It still looks close to new. The spring tensions are still great. The pads haven't worn out. You have to watch Bas’ infomercial on YouTube to see how it works. It will not replace a heavy bag or focus mitts with your training partner. I have those as well as a floor based heavy bag which I like. I also have a Bob dummy. This will absolutely replace Bob- sorry Bob! I bought the most expensive version with lower pads. I don’t think you need that. It’s fine for adding inside leg kicks but they offer little resistance. What’s really great is you can practice without gloves and get perfect resistance on the head and torso. You can do uppercuts and hooks without hurting your wrists. The head is perfect balance of resistance and absorption. Highly recommend even just the head and torso. But the hands out to the sides certainly allow you to practice multiple opponents and focus mitt drills. And of course if you have the Leon do skills and want to do high kicks those are great.

I thought it would be awesome to have instead of a heavy bag. It is just ok. Not the greatest thing ever but not bad either. I am middle road with it. If you order you do NOT need the lower arms to kick they were wasted money.

I like the adjustability of it. A lot more options than a simple bag, or "Bob". And the additional cost isn't that much more for what you get. I'm older, so my f is on

This is not a replacement for a heavy bag, but is definitely the best thing I ever trained on for high speed cardio and accuracy practice. It's got a bit of wobble in the center shaft. I flipped the base around and used a set of 2 in conduit clamps to screw it down to the floor
