Review: This set of dishes is attractive and lightweight. They replaced a heavy set of stoneware dishes. I particularly like the raised edge of the plates and salad plates which keeps food from sliding off. I wish there were other pieces I could add such as large soup bowls, serving bowls, and platters. UPDATE: Tonight I had just put my supper on one of the plates and it cracked in half. There were no glass splinters. It was a clean but jagged break. The food was not exceptionally hot. It was quite a surprise and disappointment. The dinnerware has not had hard use. I live alone and the plates are not used every day. They have never been dropped.
