Easy to make
This was quite good, although it did not turn out as yellow as I would have liked. Pretty straight forward to make, and fluffed up nicely once made, tasted perfectly OK . I'd say this sat somewhere in between packet rice and takeaway rice (it was definitely much better than microwave rice though!), but I reckon with a little tweaking to cooking time / heat and maybe some more turmeric, and a couple of cardomom pods and some cloves, this could be even better.
