Got this since there's been a warning light on my dash in my car. Upon using the scanner, my husband said it did not read the code and did not clear it. Bummed it didn't work. Hopefully it works for other codes that need to be read and cleared, but it didn't for ours.

Price is really good. Easy to use, fast results. But now to fixed on my car is going to be expensive.

This code reader is for OBD 2 based vehicles (96 and newer). In using it, it appears that the readings are reasonably correct. Scanner and screen are physically small which makes it hard to read. Has a trouble code library, but its pretty basic. Scanner will read basic live data stream information. There is no storage bag or box included the kit. Instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired. Might be okay for basic diagnostics. This is a very basic code reader. Price point is considered reasonable for this item.
