I bought this for a camper that we purchased. I am recovering from being hit by a car (broke my tibia!), so I needed a bit more stability climbing in and out of our teardrop trailer. This does the trick well.The first few times that you open/fold it, expect resistance, but it gets much easier to open up the legs with use.It is solid, well built, and quite stable. The design is well thought out (even the buttons for releasing the legs are done well). It only takes a minute or so to deploy the legs and lock the handle in place. Folded up, it is small enough to tuck into small gaps (side of a refrigerator, in a storage box, or in our case, alongside our cooler in the galley kitchen.)The handle is what sold me on it. No more fishing around with a leg sticking out to find your step stool--just reach out and grab the thing!My only suggestion? I would love to see a higher height version of this. Six and half inches is great for granny but I would prefer a step stool height of at least 8 inches and preferably 9 inches.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The price was great. Its a very sturdy and convenient stool. It is also light so easy to pick up and move around.

I bought this 2 Step Stool so my 12 year old English Mastiff, Maybelline, can get into the back seat of our car. It is the perfect height so she can get in herself…no more leaving her home alone or heavy lifting for me! It does have to be put together and is very very sturdy. I recommend buying this 2 Step Stool for human household help reaching things as well.

A bit flimsy.

I got this for my wife to help her get in our Jeep. The step isn’t high enough to help much and while it does fold up it takes up too much room in the Jeep if you don’t and too much time if you do. I can see it could be a help around the house not sure if we have enough use for it to keep it. It does seem to be well made and sturdy. The handle to hold on to for balance is a nice feature too. I decided to give it five stars because it’s not a fault of the product that it didn’t work for my need. Overall if you need a step like this around your house I would recommend it.

The platform may be non-slip but that’s all that is. The handle won’t stay up under pressure so be aware. Every time I try to use it to get into bed with my broken hip, it starts sliding across the hardwood floor. Not super happy with this project.

Great portable stool to help my mom get into my SUV. It easily folds down to about 2". Light weight and easy to assemble.

I kept the stool because it is a good small step up but the extension of the handle won't stay up under any pressure so it is useless. I just make sure not to use the extension. Would have been 5 stars if not for that.
