These needles were just what I had hoped for.I live where it seldom gets cold enough for a tightly woven shawl or scarf.An open weave works much better . I couldn't be more pleased w/the results.Plan to buy the next size down for another knitting project.They are sturdy & light weight which is a win win for me as I have trouble w/manual dexterity.Hadn't knit in a very long time & w/ these it was much easier than I'd remembered.

Not easy to find bigger needles, these rocks for big, thick yarn. Good price too.

They work perfect but I ordered a pretty green set and what I received was definitely blue. I’ll keep them but would have preferred to have gotten the right green knitting needles.

I'm knitting a throw for my sister in Florida for some of the cooler Florida evenings so I needed a looser type of knit. I tried knitting needle sizes up to size 19 and it was still too tight - it would be too warm and look awkward thrown on a chair in her living room. Be great for Michigan but I'm looking for a knitting stitch that would be loose enough so as not to suffocate a Floridian. The sizes in stores end at 19 and then go up to 50 which I thought would be way too loose. 35 is perfect! Much, much looser than the 19 but still holds its shape. I'm knitting in pieces and then piecing it together. So each piece is small enough that when washed should be able to maintain it's shape.I went everywhere in town and even on craft store websites to no avail. So thankful that I found them on Amazon. And for a good price. They make a beautiful stitch and unlike some other reviewers I didn't find them awkward at all to start using. Although I rarely knit with the smaller needles to begin with. I am using Lion brand Hometown yarn (it is chunky) and am thrilled with the look. It gives a "lacier" appearance on the edges where I have changed the stitch.Another benefit is how fast the knitting moves along with these larger needles and chunkier yarn. I wouldn't recommend this size for knitting a purse since things would fall out. But for a light throw it is perfect. I wish I had ordered 2 pairs.

Perfect size needles for a lap blanket with bulky yarn! I used size 50 needles but found the weave too open. Moving down to this size still allowed for knitting quickly, with thick yarn, but not too loosely woven. Just soft, and plush, and warm!

Received only one needle. I guess it was my fault for not checking the description to make sure there should have been 2 since I needed only one for my broomstick crochet. Now it's probably too late to complain... Other than that, good quality.

These needles are great. I inherited a ton of metal knitting needles from my grandma and all the ones I've bought have been bamboo, so these are my first plastic needles. They are very smooth and easy to use. I was a little worried about the yarn accidentally slipping off, but so far, so good. I love these huge needles for knitting scarves and cowls with the "super chunky" yarn. You can cast on 12 stitches and be done in no time!

I didn't really look up the sizing before purchasing these needles, they are HUGE which is exactly what I wanted/needed for this project I had. But for reference, these needles are about three quarters of an inch thick. Woah! But I am just ripping through blankets and loose knit scarves and chunky yarns. Awesome! I feel a little all-powerful. Some people said the needle size made it feel awkward knitting but I felt that, because these needles weren't too awfully long, that they moved rather well. Buy them, and knit one project and I'm sure you will love them!
