Very impressive!!
This thing is pretty awesome I have been using it to produce music and it hasn't missed a beat even under heavy vst and waves plug-ins load with 50+ tracks in FL Studio it actually has more power than the computer I built granted 10 years ago that cost me 3k.. runs very silent and runs cool... my external hard drive was warm but not the mini pc.. this thing is worth every penny.

Power and Quiet Mini PC (Linux)
I have owned my Beelink SER5 Ryzen 7 5700u (8 cores, 16 threads) for about three weeks. It is powerful, quiet, and versatile personal computer. I have used it as an HTPC for my home and in my camping trailer. I'm currently using it in my office. The 5700u CPU has a built in decoder for VP9, but not AV1. AV1 videos (8K) cause the processors to go to work decoding as expected. Browsing the web, watching videos, the processor workload runs about 5% and is reporting 46 Celsius (accuracy ?)with a fan speed of about 2400 rpm (near silent). Very little heat is felt out the back. The 5700u, even so it is the older Zen 2 architecture, is great. The TDP is only 15 watts. I have added a Samsung 1TB SSD drive. Compressing large backup files - decent performance.I don't care for Windows 11 so tried a few Linux distributions. Mint 21 had issues with the WiFi and Bluetooth. Wifi and Bluetooth (BT) card is reporting that it is an Intel AX200 chip. Linux doesn't have problems with these. The issue is a random conflict - non-assignment of an address (IDK). I'm successfully running Kubuntu 23.10. The front audio jack is working. I run dual monitors. Have tried all combination of these - HDMI, DP, and USB-C. Kubuntu grabs BT speaker at boot. Have not tried BT keyboard or mouse. We have a Mac Mini and Intel Nuc i5 (Kaby Lake). This doesn't have that quality feel. The plastic case, rear USB ports are not quite lined up correctly. I worry about the longevity of the internal fan. But, for it's price, if it lasts, it is a value. It ran windows 11 well while I was testing it. I have not tried to use customer service.

Good little machine
For what it is, it's worth the coin. Could it be better? Yes.However, for what it is and what it costs, it's more than worth it, even if you have to replace it in two years.

Excellent Value for the price
I am an IT consultant for small businesses and this is a great solution for most of my clients. I have now used the for about 2 years and probably have deployed close to 50 units now (no failures at this point). The specs (CPU, RAM, Storage) exceed most of my clients needs and the connections (HDMI, DisplayPort, Type C USB, Ethernet, etc.) make this unit extremely flexible for retrofitting with existing monitors and other devices. I have used a few other mini PC brands and this is the one we have settled on.

Love these liiittle PCs!
I have purchased a few of these with the slightly slower and lower power 5700U CPU and not this one as I couldn't find the 5700u variant at the time of purchase. I use them for general purpose office PCs and 'registers' to cash out customers for my clients that operate retail businesses. Though the 5800H is a little faster its really not noticeable vs. the 5700U, especially for office type tasks and web browsing. I much prefer the 5700U as its rated at 15W vs. 45W for this 5800H and I prefer 5700u lower power and thus less heat to disperse in the very small chassis but we shall see how this 5800H holds up over time.

I want to like it.
Outside of the fact that Windows 11 isn't very user friendly, I was excited to get this little unit. After setting it up, almost immediately these (look below) started popping up. If I were more computer savvy, this may not be a problem. Just seems to me for being brand new, right out of the box, this shouldn't be an issue. Driver update seemed to fix issue. It didn't fix windows 11, but that's not its fault.

It’s got everything I was looking for.
This is the best approach I’ve come across for updating my home computer. I didn’t need a laptop but didn’t want a big old tower at home either. Here’s hoping it is reliable in the long term.

Keeps crashing
I can’t count how many work and personal computers I’ve owned over the last 30+ years. This is the first computer I’ve ever owned that crashes regularly. Started off crashing once a week. Now it’s once every couple of days. And i am not a power user with many apps loaded up. It’s a minimal setup with light usage.2 months later . . . . now it won't even boot. I get a "disk repair" message, then that shows for 5 minutes, then it tries to reboot, then I get another "disk repair" message etc etc etc. Tried flashing the BIOS as they told me, but totally useless.Very disappointed. Warranty is not much use……. Setting up a new computer, even with not many programs loaded, still takes many hours. If there’s something wrong under the warranty, I’d take my losses and buy another brand.
