The timer on this doesn’t work properly.. it never stays on the heating stage for the time selected..it always cools, never heating. Not as easy as they promote

I would like to change my review to 4/5 stars. The mat does work and make it to where the bread if proofed perfectly. What I ran into is the mat does not get up to the temp it says so for me to want 78-80 degrees I have to set it around 100 on the remote. I roasted this product a few weeks ago but it does work. Not accurate…but it works. I apologize for the previous roast

I bought this mat to help accelerate the process of readying my sourdough starter and helping the bread to rise faster in my loaf pans! My house stays very cold in my house so my dough was taking forever to rise. This mat is easier to store and simple to use once you figure out the settngs!

It doesn’t work well, it takes about an hour to proof dough. That is about the same time that it takes to proof dough without the device.

I purchased this in hopes it would be made of better quality than the last one I had and nope it is terrible! Smells like chemicals when it’s heating up and it couldn’t even temp properly. Very bad product!!!!!!
