Best of the many OCD/anxiety books I have read
As a clinician and OCD sufferer, I have read many books on these topics. I ordered this book after hearing the author on the excellent "OCD Stories" podcast. Its explanations of OCD and the reinforcing cycle of worry, along with its presented strategies to overcome anxious cycles, are the same truths I have uncovered through years of painful struggle and searching. I highly encourage anyone who is struggling with OCD, worry, or anxious rumination to buy this book and do the hard work of implementing its strategies. Your life is worth it.

Easy to Digest and Full of Useful Tools/Wisdom
I've always joked that I wished I could carry around my therapist’s wisdom in my back pocket to use when I needed it most. And now I get that opportunity! Ben takes an easy going approach to the inner workings of our brains and defines everything in laymen's terms. He uses science and data with a dose of humor and a generous helping of compassion in his delivery. Highly recommend for anyone struggling with anxiety, OCD, and other anxiety disorders.

Really Great
This book explains worrying so well whether you’re new to the topic or like me already know all about it through lived experience with ocd. I love that it includes practical exercises to implement what you’re learning throughout. Organized well and written clearly and with occasional humor. I highly recommend if you struggle with anxiety or compulsions!
