Five Ten Adidas Men's Guide Tennie Approach Walking Shoe

This is my 4th or 5th pair of these. I've used these on deployments to SE and SW Asia.These are particularly nice for SOF operations and training where you need good comfortable grippy shoes. Fast rope training in CH47s and CH53s, Military Free Fall, climbing urban structures to gain entry or set up a hide site...these things are perfect!They are also great for outdoors hiking and scrambling. They are truly the perfect blend of a climbing and hiking shoes. They also make a high top for over ankle support which are great too!

I had ordered this shoe in my normal shoe size, but it was at least a full size tighter than a typical size 11. It was not possible to use this at all and I returned it for a pair of Evolv's. The Evolv runs half a size tight, but the size 11 would have been useable unlike this shoe.

Wide footed people love to climb too... I ordered 2!!! sizes bigger than I needed and the shoe was still cutting off blood for me. I'm sure they are great, but I ended up buying a different shoe with wide sizes instead; disappointed.

These shoes tend to run small, had to go up 1/2 on the women’s pair and a whole size on the men’s to get the correct fit. This is even after using the size guide provided. It is a well made shoe and well worth the price.

Censored.In short, not recommend.

Great shoe but designed for approach hiking/climbing (5.6/5.7).

These look cool but are possibly the most uncomfortable things to have on ur feet besides ski boots. No arch support, completely flat insoles. The super stiff rubber is good for mtn biking, not so much for walking.
